Get to Know the Family Behind The Metaphysical Flamingo

Hi, friends!

Welcome to our family art studio and gift shop! We are a lively bunch, full of creativity and whimsy! Our family is big and wide--much more like a bush than a tree, and we come together here, like a flock of flamingos, sharing our unique art with others.

First and foremost, I created The Metaphysical Flamingo as a place to share my Astro art as I learn and explore astrology. Both my parents are astrologers, so naturally, I wanted to include them. The shop blossomed from there and now has five contributing family members: me, my father, my mother, my husband, and my daughter.
Everyone adds their unique art to the mix, so you won't find things that are the same as other shops here. We all have different styles. Art is the element that groups us together held by the glue of family.

Some of our items are truly handmade, at home, like my watering can suncatchers, my father's sterling silver pendants, and my mother's boho earrings. We also design, or place our own art on, print-on-demand items like mugs, t-shirts, and patches. This is a really fun way to get our art out there in ways that people can enjoy and in an eco-friendly way, too, since nothing is printed until ordered. I strive to source products from the USA when possible.
