Metolius Rox started as a story before it ever became a brand.

At its core is Bobbie, a novel born somewhere between late night emergency room shifts, mountain air in Central Oregon, and a sense of humor that never really made it past middle school. The book follows a deeply flawed but strangely lovable character moving through chaos, adventure, relationships, and the occasional questionable decision, all with a tone that balances irreverence with something unexpectedly sincere.

As the world of Bobbie grew, so did the characters. Not just on the page, but visually. What began as scenes and personalities turned into something you could actually wear. Dr. Jacob, Simple Pedro, Bobbie, Dominique Grotto, and the rest of the crew are more than just parts of a story. They are pieces of a shared inside joke, snapshots of adventure, and reminders not to take life too seriously.

This shop is where that world spills out into real life.

Metolius Rox is based in Bend, Oregon, a place that naturally blends mountain culture, river days, ski runs, and a slightly offbeat sense of identity. That influence shows up in everything here. The designs lean into an outdoors aesthetic, but with a twist. They are meant to feel like something you would pick up in a small mountain town shop, then realize later there is a deeper story behind it.

Every item connects back to the larger universe. The shirts and hats are not just graphics. They are extensions of the book, the characters, and the tone. A little irreverent, a little nostalgic, and grounded in real experiences, travel, and the kind of humor that sticks with you.

Metolius Rox is still small and intentionally so. The goal is not mass production, but creating pieces that feel personal, wearable, and a little bit different from everything else out there.
