Hallo! Ich bin Janice, Illustratorin und lebe im Peak District in Großbritannien. Meine Arbeit ist stark von den Rhythmen der Natur inspiriert – dem Wechsel der Jahreszeiten, den Mondphasen und dem stillen Zauber der kleinen Dinge im Alltag. Besonders faszinieren mich Folklore, Märchen und die verspielte Schönheit, die sich in Hecken und Waldwegen verbirgt.

Ich fertige illustrierte Papierwaren wie Grußkarten und andere Papierprodukte an, die Ihrem Leben einen Hauch von Magie und Wärme verleihen sollen. Jedes Stück beginnt als handgezeichnete Skizze und wird mit viel Liebe, Sorgfalt und einer Tasse Kräutertee an meiner Seite liebevoll gestaltet.

Viele meiner Inspirationen schöpfe ich aus Spaziergängen mit meinem Hund auf dem Land, wo unter weitem Himmel und rauschenden Bäumen Ideen Gestalt annehmen. Ich glaube daran, innezuhalten, die kleinen Dinge wahrzunehmen und die magischen Details des Lebens zu feiern – und ich hoffe, dass sich das in meiner Arbeit widerspiegelt.

Ob ich nun eine Waldszene zeichne oder ein mondbeschienenes Design entwerfe, das Geschichtenerzählen und die Verbindung zu anderen Menschen stehen immer im Mittelpunkt meiner Arbeit.

Hello! I’m Janice, an illustrator based in the Peak District, UK. My work is deeply inspired by nature’s rhythms - the changing seasons, phases of the moon and the quiet magic found in everyday moments. I’m especially drawn to folklore, fairytales and the whimsical beauty that hides in the hedgerows and woodland paths.

I create illustrated paper goods such as greeting cards and paper goods, all designed to bring a touch of wonder and warmth into your world. Every piece begins as a hand-drawn sketch and is lovingly developed with care, intention and a cup of herbal tea by my side.

Much of my inspiration comes from countryside walks with my dog, where ideas take shape beneath wide skies and whispering trees. I believe in slowing down, noticing the little things, and celebrating the magical details of life — and I hope my work reflects that.

Whether I’m drawing a woodland scene or crafting a moonlit design, storytelling and connection are always at the heart of what I do.
