It all started in my living room, watching my 8-year-old sister get lost in the same silly cat videos on YouTube Shorts. While she was entertained, I wished she was getting lost in a story instead—one with heart, characters to love, and a lesson to hold onto.

So, I created one for her: the tale of a little white kitten named Rhys. I saw her eyes light up not just at the video, but at the story. She wanted to see Rhys again. She wanted to hold the story in her hands, to turn the pages herself, and to read it as a book before bed.

That's when the dream for Mewmo was born.

If one child could fall in love with a character and yearn for it to leap off the screen and into a storybook, then maybe children everywhere would, too. We're on a mission to turn fleeting screen time into lasting storytime, creating beautiful books that nurture imagination and kindness, one paw at a time.
