I was given my very first art award in kindergarten when my teacher fashioned a pin from construction paper that read, "My Little Artist." I was hooked!
Art was my favorite class throughout grade school and my grades reflected my love for it. My senior year in high school I studied how-to books & art magazines to teach myself watercolor. My high school art teacher encouraged me to pursue art in college. I spent four amazing years learning, growing, developing, expanding and experimenting with art. I received my degrees with highest honors in Graphic Design & Illustration. I have been a professional artist, working from a private studio, since 1991.
I remember buying my very first original. I treasure it! Meeting the artist... touching an original... hanging it in our home. Everyone should be able to own and enjoy art. I spent many years selling my originals at art shows & festivals. Etsy is an exciting way to share my art~ with you!
