Squishies and More Squishies!
Crafting is one of the great memories I have of spending quality time my mother when I was growing up. We would spend hours researching, shopping for supplies, and making crafts together. She inspired in me an attention to detail, and an appreciation for beautiful things, made by hand. Something you can be proud of and enjoy yourself, or give to others.
My shop is often evolving, because I love coming up with new things that are inspired by a special request (such as my Crutch Bubbles Crutch Covers!), and as I try new things and fall in love with them.
I first opened my Etsy shop to sell sparkly ornaments that I continue to make every year for family. When I became a gramma, I got out my sewing machine again to make quilts for them, and added quilts, and smaller items made from the scraps to my shop.
I made my first biscuit quilt (or bubble quilt) for my granddaughter Emma, and she just LOVED it! A photo posted online got a lot of attention shifted my focus to bubble quilts.
That evolved into cushions and pillows, easter baskets and more.
My latest love is cloth dollmaking and squishies. The possibilities are endless!
Keep an eye on my shop for what's coming next, and I love to hear your ideas too!
Life is good, and each day is a blessing.
Enjoy your day!
xoxo,
Michelle
