About

Sewing Pretty Fabrics into Even Prettier Gifts for Everyone

After learning to sew at my Grammy's knee many, many years ago, I have long harbored a love for fabrics of all types. Seriously! My friends refer to my stash as "the Hoard."

Several years ago, I opened an Etsy shop. It was mostly a lark: a place to show off what I was sewing and hopefully find a home for the items I made. There are only so many times you can give your friends and family your projects! So I decided to give this Etsy thing a try and listed a few in my own shop. Imagine my surprise when someone actually made a purchase. And then another. Things sort of took off and I ended up with 66 sales in one year.

Over the years there have been a lot of changes in my Etsy shop. My focus has morphed into items that make Mom and baby's life easier. This makes sense because my focus in my personal life has also shifted into a mom-centric view. And this isn't just a hobby for me anymore. It is what I do. I am a maker.

What hasn't changed throughout all this time, though, is my attention to detail in each and every one of my transactions. There is no one else crafting in my shop...I make each item myself. (Ok, my husband has been known to clip a few curves for me when I have lots to make, but that's about as much as he's allowed to do.) I cut each piece at my dining room table. Each seam is carefully sewn in my sewing studio. And each item is lint-rolled and pressed before it leaves my hands.

Shopping handmade isn't about finding a bargain, but it should be about getting a truly unique product, receiving outstanding customer service, and forging a personal connection with shop owners. To that end, I search for fun fabrics that you don't see everywhere. I answer every convo as quickly as possible. And I really enjoy getting to know some of my shoppers.

    Owner, Maker

I am a stay at home Mommy who is blessed to get to spend a part of every day doing one of my favorite things: playing with fabric. I have been sewing for close to 30 years (yikes, I feel old now!) and still enjoy every minute of it.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I love making something that is designed with your wishes specifically in mind. Want a certain fabric/color? Need a different style of handle on a bag? I can accommodate almost all of those requests. Please just send me a convo and we'll get to work on making something just for you!

Wholesale availability

Would you like to carry my items in your brick and mortar store? Convo me for details about my wholesale policy!

Processing Time

Almost nothing in my shop is "Ready to Ship." Most of my items are made to order so that I can make the small changes (colors...added straps...etc.) that many of you request. Therefore, it can take a few days to get your order out the door and on its way to you. You can see item specific processing times in each listings detail information.

Need Something Right Away?

I am married to a wonderful man who is a heck of a procrastinator, so I totally understand the plight of the last minute shopper. If you're up against a deadline, please don't hesitate to convo me about your needs. I have been known to burn a little midnight oil to help meet an impending deadline.
