Vintage meets Science
My excitement for mid century furniture began a few years ago while curating unique pieces for my own home. MicroscopeTelescope blends my love affair for globes and finely crafted furniture with my boyfriend's love of science, space & typography. We are always on the hunt for our own house, but can't fit them all, thus, MicroscopeTelescope was born!
I love the thrill of finding vintage items, scouring thrift stores, surpluses and estate sales. Each piece holds a unique story and history. Opening MicroscopeTelescope allows me to continue to hunt while sharing the pieces I have found with others!

Shop policies
I decided to open an etsy shop because I love scouring thrift stores and estate sales and I am obsessed with vintage items. I love that vintage pieces are unique and hold the story of it's previous owner. My own home is decorated with several globes, brass candle sticks, mid century furniture, cameras and unique and funky electrical gadgets. I only put items in my shop that I would love to have in my own home. Many of the items are not in perfect condition, but that's what makes vintage so great! Please read the shipping policies & item descriptions carefully and message me if you have any questions. I would be happy to help.

Returns and exchange details
The best part of vintage is that the item has a past and is not a perfect copy of another item. With that in mind, we do our best to accurately describe and photograph the items condition. Please expect wear & imperfections and look at ALL photos AND description carefully. There may be dents, scratches or blemishes on items and I do my best to detail any major marks in every listing. Please look at both the full description AND the photos for the condition of the item. If you have a question about the condition of a particular item, please contact me before purchasing. However, if there is an issue with your order, or something out of the ordinary, please contact me immediately. I will do my best to make it right!

Payment
Shipping
Pickups are always welcome! I am located 20 minutes North of Seattle. Please message me if you would like to schedule a pick up. I will reserve the item for you and take off the shipping cost prior to checkout. Delivery in the Greater Seattle Area can also be arranged for a fee. Please message me for details.
PACKAGING TIME
Once you place your order, I will carefully package up your item within 5-7 days of purchasing. If you need faster turnaround for shipping please contact me for availability and a quote before purchasing. Large or delicate items sometimes take more time (1-2 weeks) which I have marked on the listing.
SHIPPING WITHIN THE US
I ship all small items via USPS with Tracking. You will receive a tracking number once the package is shipped.
The item will be shipped to the address that comes through on the etsy order. Please double check your address carefully BEFORE purchasing.
Please message me if you would like insurance added to your package. All items shipping USPS Priority or Faster will automatically come with $100 per box.
Larger items please contact me for a quick quote. I will ship either USPS, Fedex or Greyhound for Larger items to keep the cost down for you.
INTERNATIONAL
Please contact me for shipping costs & let me know beforehand if you would like insurance. There is no insurance on international packages unless requested prior to shipping. I can only list the value of the item as what you paid for minus shipping. Import duties or any additional fees are the buyer's responsibility. I cannot mark the item as gift or less than the actual value. Please ship at your own risk, I am not responsible for items lost in transit. Please ship at your own risk. No refunds for international orders. I ship USPS unless otherwise asked for and quoted.
DAMAGE
Damage does occasionally happen in shipping. Please contact me immediately & hold onto the item and all packaging. Please take a photo of both the packaging and the broken item and contact me immediately. I will contact USPS and refund you once USPS has reimbursed me.
If there are any issues please contact me immediately before leaving feedback. My goal is to make sure all my customers are happy and taken care of!
