I love these yarn snugglers so much! They have one job, and that’s to keep my cakes from collapsing in on themselves. They do that job admirably. They have the bonus of looking cool as well. The yarn prints that Mid Mitten Designs has put out over the years are my favorite. I think I’ve got at least one of every yarn print she’s released. This new addition to my collection is great. I haven’t used it just yet, but I know it will be perfect, just like the others I own. I highly recommend these if you’re considering getting cake holders for your yarn cakes. There are lots of options to choose from, and these are the best I’ve found. Price is great too. You won’t regret it. Get you some yarn snugglers today!

What made me do this??

When I couldn't find the "perfect" project bag, I started to experiment. With input from my knitting and embroidery friends, MidMitten Designs was born in mid-2016 and continues to grow.

I'm a Becky Home Ec-y from WAY back -- I taught clothing construction and sewing skills in my first 8 years out of college as an Extension Home Economist. I'm persnickety: the inside has to be as nice as the outside, so everything in my project bags is finished, bound, lined, etc. Zippers are finished so they don't catch fibers.

Everything you see here was made by me or my expert bag maker friend and assistant Laurie in our home studios. Our homes are pet friendly and non-smoking.
