String piecing quilting, a set of 4 blocks. I sewed fabric strips on to a stabilizer then flip, iron and continue adding strips in this manner until the backing is covered, then cut into squares. I made some cosmetic pouches using this method.

At a show today with lots of rain. Light on shoppers but the Ducks were not bothered by the rain, too bad they don't need accessories.

I sew with an industrial Juki sewing machine, it is fast and consistent. Today I am working on zipper pouches. I use a quilting method called chain piecing feeding one right after the other. After the zippers, they are snipped apart from each other.

Adding new large flat bottom cosmetic pouches to my shop. Inspired late at night to make coordinated tassel zipper pulls. Made from glass beads and embroidery floss. Tassel is great compliment to the large sized cosmetic pouch. More coming soon!
