Shipping:

Orders are shipped most days Monday through Friday.

Our business hours are Monday - Friday from 11AM to 8PM Central Standard Time.

Please allow 10 to 15 business days for processing and packaging before shipment.

All orders will have a USPS tracking number attached to shipping confirmation e-mails. Please note that if you do not enter in an email address, a confirmation email will not be sent. This also includes the shipping confirmation email.

All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. This is non negotiable. If a package is ruined, lost, damaged, please contact USPS and file a claim. All packages are insured. Note that if your package is stolen, USPS will not honor an insurance claim. It is up to you to file a theft report to your local authorities. I will not do this on your behalf.

I do not replace lost, stolen, ruined, or damaged packages free of charge. This is why I insure every package for more than the order total and shipping cost. If you need to file a claim and need proof of insurance please contact me immediately. I'm happy to send over the documents needed. Also, from experience, take photos of the damaged product as well as the parcel. Do not toss the item away. USPS has a history of asking for more proof via photos. Save everything!

Once the package is picked up by USPS, it is no longer my responsibility. It is now considered yours.


If a package is ruined, lost, stolen, damaged, please contact USPS and file a claim. I've attached below how to take these steps.


How to File a Domestic Claim with USPS
Filing Online
You can file a domestic claim online at www.usps.com/domestic-claims for packages covered by USPS insurance as described in the “Insurance Availability” section. The online claims process allows you to electronically upload .pdf and .jpg files as the required supporting documentation for a claim.

You can save entered information without submitting it for up to 3 days. After 3 days, the data you entered will no longer be available.

There are eight easy steps to file a claim online:

Go to www.usps.com/domestic-claims.
Sign in to the Online Claims site with your USPS.com user name and password. New users can register for a user name and password at www.usps.com.
Enter the Tracking/Label Number and shipping date.
Enter the address information and claim details.
Select the reason for filing a claim.
Upload proof of value, such as a receipt of purchase (upload .pdf and .jpg files as attachments).
If required, enter insurance fees and upload evidence of insurance (e.g., a mailing receipt) using a .pdf or .jpg attachment.
Review your claim information and submit it.
You must keep evidence of insurance until the claim is resolved.

If the insured, registered, or COD article is lost, and if the claim is paid, the Postal Service also reimburses the mailer for the amount of the postage paid.

Cancellations & Returns:

Due to the nature of the products we do not accept returns. We do not offer exchanges. We do not accept cancellations.

The dried herbs on top of these candles can catch on fire when initially lit. Please be careful of where and when you burn. Avoid burning near flammable items/areas.

NEVER LEAVE A CANDLE UNATTENDED.

Midnight, by Verbena is not responsible for the misuse of any candles. Please use responsibly and NEVER leave candles burning unattended. Especially with herbs that can catch fire. Never leave candles burning with in reach of children and/or pets.

How I Started

When I first started practicing, I found that my local shops either didn't care the product I needed or the quality wasn't worth what they were selling it for. So I started making my own oils and soaps with herbs and ingredients that I felt good about. With the encouragement and support of my friends and community, I opened up an Etsy shop. I started this shop as a home grown, refreshing alternative to the big box metaphysical stores. I work tirelessly, 7 days a week to ensure that everyone receives quality over quantity. Why would you settle for less than you deserve? I hope everyone enjoys this shop as much as I do growing and creating for it.

Due to the nature of these candles, they are fixed and made to order.

Scheduled Pickups

USPS pickups are scheduled every Monday and Thursday. Please allow 10 to 15 days processing time before contacting about shipment pick ups.

International Orders

Lost, Damaged, Stolen Packages

All packages are insured. Once the package is picked up by USPS, I am no longer responsible for it. It is USPS responsibility to deliver it to your requested address. I do not replace lost, stolen, or damaged packages. It is your responsibility to file a claim.

Incorrect Address/Returned Packages

If a package is returned due to incorrect address or otherwise marked as "return to sender", it is your responsibility to pay for re-shipping labels. Please double check that your address is correct prior to completing your order. I do not cover costs of reshipping labels.
