And not incidentally, this locket arrived door to door in 5 calendar days from Paris to the USA. I honestly purchased it in December 2020, not expecting it until March 2021. Surprise!!!!!

1 out of 5 starsNecklace advertised as coming with a 51 cm 18K box link chain. Both the pendent and chain were advertised as being stamped. The chain that came with the necklace was 38 cm (Choker fit that was also not depicted in pictures) and has no stamp to verify it’s gold content. False advertising- would not recommend.

Rushing to a competent jeweler (or plainly asking us!) would have been more appropriate than rushing to write an erroneous evaluation. Seller would have found out that the necklace hallmarks were as stated, and as seen in photo #9 (the one before the last one!) No further comments have become necessary now.

1 out of 5 starsUnfortunately the USPS service from America is still sending this item on a world tour, so far been to Poland and Estonia, quite a way from New Zealand, where it was shipped to on February 9th, I am getting very upset, as one can imagine.
Betty has tried to help but doesn't seem to be able to get her shipping agent on board.

Your item arrived in New Zealand, but was delayed through no fault of the Seller! Such a mistake of holding the Seller responsible for a Shipper lack of performace reminds one of a Middle Age practice: When a messenger brought bad news to his lord, the later would chop his head off in sign of "gratitude"!

Following an academic career, I have returned to my first passion --Art.
My passion for fine vintage, antique jewelry, and art objects, has run parallel to my academic life. When the latter ended, I took training in Paris and elsewhere in Europe to refine and further develop my passion and trade.
Thus, following an illness, when I was given a second chance to deal with life's many challenges, and never doing things half way, I decided to manage my stores on a full-time basis where I could go into trading fine jewelry and art objects. My preferences go to 19th century estate jewelry, the Art Nouveau/Art déco periods, but our inventory includes many vintage pieces from other periods, not all of which are listed on this website. So, if you are looking for that special, difficult-to-find piece of jewelry or object d'art, please contact us. Our team of experts, will scout the markets and try to locate it for you.
Our jewelry pieces are originals and are not mass produced. We sell unique, unusual and authentic pieces that have nothing in common with "big Box" jewelry stores.

- Due to the often fragile nature of our Antiques, many pieces in our store have been gently used. We make every effort to provide descriptions that are as accurate as possible. At no time would we ever knowingly misrepresent our fine jewelry pieces. But, of course, returns are accepted if the description was not adequate, or if there was an error in the quoted price, etc. (N.B.: Please, note that diamonds or other gems are measured and graded while mounted and as mounting allows, meaning that all weights and grades are necessarily approximate.)
