MijMoj - Passion for design and making cool products.
I love wood! I started making things from a very young age and made my first welsh dresser at the age of 12. After going through school focusing on design, I then went onto University to study Industrial Product Design where I graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in 2001. This is where I also met my very good friend Sean, who collaborated with me on many projects. We both went our separate ways after graduating to hone our design skills working in industry as professional designers.
I always had the ambition to work for myself and established MijMoj in 2009, a small design and make business crafting bespoke furniture and personalised gifts. After developing a small range of items and selling in shows, fairs and online, the business quickly grew and gained a reputation for quality and design innovation. We even picked up several business and design awards!
As the business grew it was evident that we needed more staff to help with managing and making our lovely items! In 2012 in stepped Sean to help, who joined the business as a partner. We have since further developed, refined and extended our range of personalised gifts and products, which are all hand crafted in the UK to offer a comprehensive design led range of products.
