We gave the bird house to my sister in law 2 days ago and she loved it! I included information about Mike and his work, how he makes the houses, etc., and it made it that much better. The bird house arrived in good time and in good condition. Love your work! Thanks. Mary

Gave it to some friends who bought a house near the college where they met and whose games they attend religiously. No Bluebird of Happiness has lodged in it yet, but there will be in time. Thanks so much for this lovely housewarming option.

Well constructed and beautiful. Arrived quickly and I have it hanging outside waiting to be inhabited by my feathery friends.

I received my ‘Peep’ birdhouse and it is adorable! It is just as the photo shows. Well constructed, with a sturdy chain attached for hanging. I’m eagerly awaiting new tenants!

It's all about the birds!
I've always been an artist and have had my art in local galleries for some time but I got started making birdhouses in 2009 with the downturn in the housing market. My work as a carpenter was quickly diminishing so I got to work on my first birdhouse designs.
Shortly after, I bought my birdhouses to a local farmers market and was amazed by all of the encouraging comments and sales. Right then and there I decided to give this birdhouse business a try and have been making and selling birdhouses ever since!
Today, I participate in over 40 juried art festivals a year, I have a busy Etsy Shop and I sell my birdhouses to select retailers across the country. The business keeps me busy and I look forward to each new year of opportunities and birdhouse designs.
Life is good for this "Birdhouse Guy"! I love to travel throughout the Southeast meeting like-minded artists and bird lovers alike.
If you have questions drop us a line. We'd love to here from you and we'll be sure to get back to you quickly.

I guess you could say that I wear lots of hats! Mike is the artist, designer and crafter and I enjoy the digital side of our business. I love it when Mike comes in from the Birdhouse Factory with a new design and I can't wait to add it to our Shop.
Here you will find a wide variety of beautifully handcrafted Birdhouses made from reclaimed barn tin and western red cedar.
My designs are inspired by my love for wood, nature and reclaimed objects so each piece has a special, and unique character all its own.
It's always an adventure finding old, rusted barn tin! I come across the most interesting folks on that journey and I love meeting them and hearing their stories. I always get so much out of the experience and am able to put that bit of karmic energy back into each birdhouse that I make.
I hope you enjoy browsing my shop and I encourage you to contact me with any questions or comments. And most importantly, thank you for supporting the handmade movement!
