5 out of 5 starsVibrant colors and beautiful textured appearance of the paper there are no imperfections to the ripples of the marbling of it. Clear differences between Getgel and Chained chevrons patterns each is unique. Definitely nice.

5 out of 5 starsWonderful paper! I love how eccentric the marbling is on this paper, it is even better than I expected. I can’t wait to use this for my matting I use in my frames. This paper is going to give my prints the extra pop I was looking for. No to mention, the seller was super quick and responsive when I placed my order. My purchase arrived much quicker than I anticipated. Thank you so much for the service. I definitely recommend this seller.

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely amazing! The package almost got lost but the seller reached out to USPS and was able to contact me when shipping was back on track. Great communication. The paper itself is absolutely beautiful and even came in a plastic sleeve so it was very well protected. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful - the quality is extremely good

I use smaller pieces of my marbled paper to bind journal books.
Avid Marbler and Printmaker
The marbled patterns are the result of acrylic paints floated on a liquid, viscous solution known as size. Once the pattern has been made on the size it is transferred to an absorbent surface such as paper or fabric. It is often employed as a writing surface for calligraphy and as book covers or endpapers in bookbinding and many other paper arts. Part of the appeal of marbling is that each print is a unique monotype.
For me, marbling is a conversation between order and chaos, control and spontaneity. Order is not imposed on chaos nor is control meant to suppress spontaneity. There is a conversation between the ‘given’, the way the color moves and expands on the size, and ‘manipulation’ of the color with my tools. It is never the same twice.
I use the traditional patterns, dating from the 12th century up to the present, as a base for studying the linear possibilities and for color studies. These patterns form a base from which more spontaneous designs can emerge.
