Soo.....Where to start. I have always been interested in fabric prints and awesome color combinations. There's just something about the way certain patterns catch my eye and I find myself obsessing how the colors come together. I started making my own skirts in junior high with different prints of my choosing from the local fabric store. When people asked where I "purchased" the skirts I lied and said Sacramento (which is a larger city with lots of shopping places about an hour and a half away) .No one wanted to be caught dead buying clothes "in town" and risk having the same outfit on as the student sitting next to you. I guess you could say I was a bit embarrassed because when it came to school shopping with my mom and four kids....buying the expensive name brand clothing that all the "cool" kids had wasnt really an option for me. Any-who...after the 8th grade I stopped sewing....until years later I had my own little girl, she was (is) beautiful and I named her Milan. I started buying all sorts of fabrics and made some cute little things for her...then WORK happened... working a 9-5 sometimes 12 hour days leaves minimal room for quality time with her. My hope is that I can eventually quit my day job and have endless time to spend with my little sunshine who is not so little anymore...shes 9 I can hardly call her a baby anymore.. For now I will be selling beautiful fabrics I have collected over the years until I can dedicate my time to my passion of sewing. I buy Fabric when I'm happy, sad, mad, glad, bad, worried, frustrated..well you get the picture. In that being said... I have hundreds of fabric so check back often.. I am really interested in vintage fabrics...I was totally born in the wrong era!
