I never received this item because the owners thought the product wasn't good enough to be delivered so they gave me a full refund. I gave them 5 stars because they were very honest and pleasant to talk to. Great honest company.

About

Milk & Honey

I opened Milk & Honey in 2011 between finishing my degree and carpooling our kids to and from school. I didn't set out to begin a career, but my business took off and I found so much joy in the creative process that after graduating, I knew I wanted to give it my full attention. Not long after, Ryan was able to leave his job to join me full time as partner, allowing us to work side by side every day.
Our growth has been steady and sustainable, which is important as we evolve and expand. We continue to grow not just by broadening the offerings in our own shop, but through new wholesale accounts and collaborations with other brands. We have had the pleasure of working with the Martha Stewart American Made Market, Nordstrom stores nationwide, FOOD52, Anthropologie's BHLDN, as well as smaller boutiques throughout the country. What began as my passion project has grown into a thriving small business.

I am a firm believer in daily luxury and I don't believe that luxury is dependent on wealth. I appreciate the decadence of a hot cup of cocoa after playing in the snow with my children, fresh flowers in the kitchen (picked from the yard does just fine), the first sip of good coffee in the morning and nestling into a warm bed at night. Milk & Honey Luxuries was born of those moments. All of our products embrace the idea of making an ordinary moment feel special and a little luxurious.

We source the very best vintage silverware for our pieces (table-ready, gorgeous condition, free of pitting and plate loss). With well over half a million hammer blows of experience, the lettering on our stamped pieces is lined up and spaced evenly (most people don't realize at first that each and every letter, heart, and punctuation mark is formed by individual swings of our hammers). I feel that offering a finished product I am proud of and treating our customers the way I would treat my own friends is a large part of our success.

We are proud to have been featured in Etsy's "Quit Your Day Job" series. Read our story here:

Frequently asked questions

Do You Sell Wholesale?

Yes, we do! Our linesheet can be found in the Etsy Wholesale site. Please feel free to visit us there for your wholesale needs:
https://www.etsy.com/wholesale

Do You Offer a Bulk/Quantity Discount?

Each product is individually handmade by us, not mass-manufactured. Because of this, we are unable to offer a bulk order discount outside of our wholesale relationships.

Can You Make Something Custom For Me?

Absolutely! I love to work with customers to create a special piece just for them. Here is a link to our "CUSTOM Silverware" shop section: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MilkandHoneyLuxuries?section_id=18571900

What Silver Pattern Will I Receive?

We have hundreds of individually photographed pieces that show you the exact piece you will receive. Our made-to-order listings will vary depending on what patterns are in the studio when you order.
I am very careful to stock only table-ready silverware with no plate loss or pitting. I never use “shabby” or “craft grade” silverware. I also curate a wide assortment of styles, so if you have a personal preference (floral, simple, masculine, etc), please let me know in a note at checkout and I will choose the perfect piece.

I Am Sending This As a Gift. Do You Include Gift Notes?

Yes, definitely! We never include pricing materials in our shipments and are always more than happy to create a customized gift note from you to the recipient. Please leave your note at checkout and we will include it in the gift packaging. There is never a charge for this service.

I Don't Want To Pay Customs Fees. Can You Mark the Package as "Gift"?

I'm sorry but we are unable to honor requests to falsify customs documents. If you have any questions about possible import taxes and duties, please check with your local post office before placing your order.
