~*~please note~*~ In order for my listings and signs to show up on Etsy, it has to show as 1 on stock. Unless otherwise noted or in the "ready to ship" section, each sign is hand painted to order in the order in which it was received. I'm running about 6 weeks on orders.

~We specialize in custom painted signs. ALL our signs are hand painted on kiln dried pine (unless noted), one at a time in the order in which they were received. Knots and blemishes in the wood add to the character of the sign. Each sign goes through many steps and layers of paint to achieve this look but keep in mind, all monitors, computer screens and time of day lighting when the photo was taken can vary. The sign may look different that the image of the sample on Etsy but I use the same techniques and products on all my signs. Unless otherwise noted, wood staples are used for attaching the wood edges. Please read the listing description for the colors used and availability on each order. The photos of signs used in the listings are just samples and past custom orders to give you an idea of how your sign will look. The actual signs in the photos have already been sold and a new sign would be painted when you order. Give us an idea and we will try and design something personal just for you. We have painted signs for many local businesses, magazines, homes and more. Our signs have been shipped all over the world as we continue to grow.

All our signs are designed by us, Mill River Primitives unless it is a reproduction copy of an antique white I will state in the listing. I try to get permission to copy an antique sign from the signs owner whenever possible. All signs are copy written and I will file an infringement if my designs are copied. This has been happening a lot lately. I know I do not own words or fonts but I do take the time to design my signs and it is unfair for someone to copy others work, make a stencil or worse yet, send them over seas to be mass produced. In some cases, legal action will ensue.
