From Hobbyists to Small Business Owners

Like many shop owners on Etsy, we started as hobbyists. Both of us were passionate about our crafts, Doris would spend hours working paper crafts and crochet while Mike could be found in his garage workshop improving his woodworking skills. After a while we realized that we just didn't know that many people to send Doris's handmade birthday and Christmas cards to or anyone who needed yet another one of Mike's candle holders or cutting boards. At that point, we decided to try our hand at local Christmas craft fairs. The idea for an online store followed soon after and so here we are. Our product line has fluctuated over the years....Mike works with both fine hardwoods and reclaimed wood and Doris has added shadowbox art....but everything we sell is still handmade by one of us in our workshops in our home in Colorado Springs. We hope you enjoy looking at our items as much as we enjoy making them!

All products ship via US Postal Service. If multiple quantities of certain larger items are purchased, shipping costs may be calculated at a higher rate than the actual cost to ship. In this case, we will refund the shipping overages back to your method of payment.
