Inspiration from the world around me!

I'm Kim, the artist and designer at Mindful Confetti. Creating things makes me happy. I make resin art, fused glass art, hand-painted cards, jewelry, and dabble in many other things along with costumes, hats, etc.

I was born in Hawaii and moved to Northern California as a child. I grew up on a small farm in the Sonoma County hills, with huge old moss-draped Oak trees, a Eucalyptus forest, apple, chestnut and walnut trees, organic gardens, flowers and grassy fields full of lichen-covered rocks with grazing sheep, horses, and cows eating around them. The rugged coastal ocean and giant redwood trees less than an hour away, were my other favorite places to be surrounded by nature then and now.

My art inspiration comes from what I see around me. I love bringing to life my interpretation of the ocean, trees, flowers, and beautiful colors in nature. I call many of my pieces "functional art" because they are just that - a colorful scene on a serving tray, plate, or bowl which can be used however your heart desires.

I create things I would use or give to someone else. It's an added bonus when other people love something I've made enough to do the same. So please peruse, enjoy and if a piece calls to you, make it yours!

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Resin can break if dropped or handled roughly. Items broken during shipping is not due to any fault of my own but that of the shipping company. I package the items as best I can within the weight limits of the shipping the customer chooses. Many times I will end up paying extra shipping myself to try to make sure my items arrive safely. Some things are out of my control though.
None of my items are toys and should not be given to children to play with.

Care instructions

Hand wash with mild soap and dry with a soft cloth. You can also safely clean or disinfect any resin item with rubbing alcohol.
