Quería hacer una línea de armas y accesorios temáticos de mechas para minifiguras LEGO. Aprendí diseño 3D por mi cuenta e hice todo desde cero. 3 años después, no estaba funcionando...
Volví a construir gunpla...
Quería otra arma para mi HGUC GPO1 FB. El rifle de rayo estándar con el que venía no era suficiente. Luego vi el rifle de viga de cañón largo en la línea GFF Figure de principios de la década de 2000. Reconocí ese rifle. Lo vi en un videojuego: Super Robot Wars Advance, Gundam Encounters in Space y en numerosos kits de resina. Compré la figura GFF y decidí rehacer esa pistola para mi kit. Bandai nunca fabricó esta pistola para el kit de modelo en NINGÚN GRADO. Comencé a tomar medidas e ingresarlas en un software de diseño 3D. TARDÓ UNA ETERNIDAD. Valió la pena. Pensé que si realmente lo quería, otros también podrían ...
Algún tiempo después vi una publicación de Facebook en uno de los muchos grupos de Gundam. Alguien publicó cuánto le gustó la ametralladora en Jegan Escort (A Rare Premium Bandai Kit). Quería el arma, pero no quería pagar 90 dólares por el kit. Así que lo logré.
Poco después decidí hacer que mi misión fuera hacer que los artículos raros estuvieran disponibles. Luego vi artículos que solo estaban en tamaño 1/100 o 1/144. Decidí ponerlo a disposición en ambos tamaños. Vi armas solo disponibles en figuras de acción agotadas caras o raras. Decidí hacerlos ampliamente disponibles también. Entonces recordé los viejos diseños que había hecho y que estaban destinados a minifiguras de Lego hace 5 o 6 años. También los actualicé para que se ajusten a los kits de modelos porque.... ¿Por qué no?
Rompamos las barreras de la exclusividad, la escala y la imaginación porque como dice Mejin Kawaguchi... "¡Gunpla es libertad!"

I wanted another weapon for my HGUC GPO1 FB. The standard beam rifle it came with just wasn't enough. Then I saw the long barrel beam rifle in the GFF Figure line from the early 2000s. I recognized that rifle. I saw it in a video game: Super Robot Wars Advance, Gundam Encounters in Space and in numerous resin kits. I bought the GFF Figure and decided to remake that gun for my kit. Bandai never made this gun for model kit in ANY GRADE. I started to take measurements and input it into a 3D design software. IT TOOK FOREVER. It was so worth it. I figured that if I really wanted it, others might too.....
Sometime later I saw a facebook post in one of many Gundam groups. Someone posted how much they liked the Machine gun on Jegan Escort (A Rare Premium Bandai Kit). He wanted the gun but didn't want to pay $90 for the kit. So I made it.
Shortly after I decided to make it my mission to make rare items readily available. Then I saw items that were only in 1/100 or 1/144 size. I decided to make that available in both sizes. I saw weapons only available in expensive or rare out of print action figures. I decided to make those widely available too. Then I remembered the old designs I had made that were intended for Lego minifigures 5 or 6 years ago. I updated them to fit model kits too because....why not?
Let's break the barriers of exclusivity, scale, and imagination because as Mejin Kawaguchi says..."Gunpla is Freedom!"
