Ik maak alles in mijn winkel met de hand, met veel aandacht, intentie en aandacht voor detail. (Ik leun zwaar op de perfectionistische kant van het spectrum!) Dus tegen het einde van hun voltooiing heb ik een zeer persoonlijke investering in mijn creaties. Het zijn mijn feeënambassadeurs, die ik klaarmaak om de wereld in te sturen om wat feeën mojo te verspreiden!
Eindelijk zowel mijn liefde voor kunst als mijn liefde voor tuinieren kunnen combineren is een gelukkige serendipiteit. Dingen helpen groeien en bloeien is een wonderbaarlijk, inspirerend iets... Of het nu gaat om het zien bloeien van bloemen, groenten die rijpen of kamerplanten die een hoek van de kamer beginnen over te nemen. Er is geen enorme sprong in de verbeelding voor nodig om je af te vragen welke magie er aan het werk is. Die magie zichtbaar maken in de vorm van Fairy accessoires is gewoon zo.... plezier. Gewoon speels.
Bedankt aan iedereen die mij als artiest steunt en mij laat blijven doen waar ik van hou.
*De foto's die je hier ziet, zijn de zaden van hoe deze Esty Shop wortel schoot. Vroeger vond ik het erg leuk om grootschalige Sprookjestuinen te maken in mijn plaatselijke tuincentrum waar ik vroeger werkte. Maar ik raakte gefrustreerd door de beperkte accessoires die ik tot mijn beschikking had. dus... Ik begon er zelf een te maken! En de laatste foto is mijn hond, want ik kan deze throwback foto van hem, toen hij nog mini en behapbaar was, niet weerstaan!
I make everything in my shop by hand, with a lot of thought, intention, and attention to detail. (I lean heavily on the perfectionist end of the spectrum!) So by the end of their completion, I have a very personal investment in my creations. They are my fairy ambassadors, that I am readying to send out into the world to spread some fairy mojo!
Being able to finally combine both my love for art and my love for gardening is a happy serendipity. Helping things to grow and flourish is a wondrous, inspiring thing... Whether it's watching flowers bloom, vegetables ripen, or house plants start to take over a corner of room. It does not take a huge leap of imagination to wonder what magic is at work. Making that magic visible in the form of Fairy accessories is just so .... fun. Simply playful.

*The Photos you see here are the seeds of how this Esty Shop took root. I used to really enjoy making large scale Fairy Gardens at my local garden center where I used to work. But I became frustrated with the limited Accessories at my disposal. Sooo... I started to make my own! And the last picture is my dog, because I can't resist this throwback picture of him, when he was still mini and manageable!
