Never received item. Never received any response to my communications. Had to open a 'case' with Etsy. Etsy did refund my money. I would've preferred the item. It looks beautiful.

haven't received it yet, but I know Sarah will follow through. This medallion is beautiful as is all of her sculpture work.

Artist Statement and Insights
Hello there! Here at Minkiewicz Studios LLC, I create unique, handmade equine art pieces and collectibles celebrating the spirit of Equus. I'm mostly focused on the equine, but every so often other critters will scamper in to liven up the menagerie! I work mostly in realism, but I also enjoy stylistic interpretations that explore cultural and spiritual themes and totems.
I seek to explore the inner life of an individual soul resonating within the living moment so that I may perceive and convey this gracious creature with sensitivity, insight, and kinship. The story from the animal's point of view is what captivates me and compels my hands to shape the clay.
I'm a professional artist primarily working in realistic equine sculpture, but I love to venture into more stylized interpretations of the equine and explore various other critters from time to time. I live in Boise, Idaho with my rats and hubby.
I create my own original designs which I then send to The Studio which physically makes them into the enamel pins. When completed, they send them to me and I package them to sell.
Because of that, I want to let you know that sometimes I can be a bit slow in responding to messages due to my schedule, so a five day lapse isn't unusual. Just know I'm not ignoring you, I'm just madly working in the studio or getting shipping out of the door!
