Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

First and Foremost -
We would like to thank everyone for visiting our store and to remind you that we are a small business, and as such, we conduct business differently from a large retail store. Most production of orders are began immediately to get items to you as quickly as possible. Furthermore, we give one-on-one, detailed, and caring service. We enjoy creating these items for you and would rather not have a bunch of rules and regulations, but unfortunately, some are necessary to keep our small business going.
All the following policies have been built and will continue to build as "experiences" dictate.

Damaged in Shipping -
Any items damaged during shipment and deemed to be a failure on our part, will be replaced at seller's expense. Seller will request photos of damaged item and packaging to be emailed before replacing. Seller reserves the right to request items to be returned at buyer's expense before items are replaced.

Please contact us within 3 days of delivery, if there are any issues with your order. After 7 days, we assume the items were received in undamaged and in requested condition. Refund or replacements will not be honored if we are not contacted within 7 days of delivery.

Returns -
Buyer must contact seller in regards to the item they wish to return. Once the seller agrees to accept the return, buyer has 10 days to ship the item. If item has not been shipped within the 10 day span, the refund or exchange is null and void. Exceptions: If your wedding date is within that 10 days, item must be postmarked prior to wedding date. These time restraints are necessary due to past fraudulent experiences.

Refunds on Returns -
Refunds will only be made once an item has been returned to the seller. Return shipping will be at the buyers expense. No shipping charges will be refunded because that service has already been provided to you and will not be refundable to the seller.

Refunding Cancelled Orders -
If you contact us immediately after purchase, and we haven't begun production of your item, we will be glad to work with you on cancelling an order. Etsy charges us a fee for every item we post in our shop. This fee is Not refunded to us when an order is cancelled. A fee will be subtracted from your refund to re-coop the fees we incur when cancelling your order. The current cancellation fee is $.99.

Feedback / Reviews - We are greatly appreciative to all our customers for taking the time to review products you have received from us. If there is an issue with your order, please give us the opportunity to correct the problem, prior to giving feedback. We strive to make sure that everyone is happy with their purchase.

Custom Orders -
There will be no refunds or exchanges on custom orders. A confirmation email, clearly stating details of custom orders, will be sent to customers for clarification purposes. If there are any errors in this email, customer is to correct before paying for custom orders.

Wood Signs -
Please be aware - All our 18" signs are made from Natural Solid wood boards; not pressed. Due to this fact, you will receive a better quality sign, without having to worry about warping, chipping or flaking. Though we paint and seal our signs, upon close inspection, you may still see the wood grain or possible knots or small holes or indentions. These are all natural characteristics of the wood and will not take away from the beauty of your sign. We closely inspect each piece of wood used for our signs and any wood that has several flaws is thrown out. We have sold many without complaint.

Time Restrictions -
We NEVER would have imagined that we would have to include this in our policies, but here we are. NO Refunds or exchanges will be made for personalized items after the wedding or event; i.e. Unity Glass Set with Wedding date etched on it and you want to return it after the wedding date for a refund or exchange.

Shipping
All items will be shipped Priority Mail via USPS, with delivery confirmation, unless otherwise requested by purchaser. We ship via Priority mail due to all items being shipped with that service are automatically insured and given a Delivery Confirmation Number, so the item can be tracked. Express mail and international shipments are available at actual cost and at purchaser's expense. Please contact seller, prior to purchase, if you require special shipping services.

Items returned due to bad address - If an item is returned to us due to a bad or incomplete address that we were given, customer will be responsible for postage to have items reshipped to good address. The USPS will not ship again for FREE. They will charge new postage for the item to be reshipped.

Custom Orders -
We love Custom Orders!
Please remember - there are only so many lines of painting or Etching that can be done without loosing detail or ease of reading. We may suggest shorter versions, or large items, to accommodate your wishes.

Sign Request that we will Refuse -
Any signs that includes the word "Bitch" or other profanities, or vulgarities that belittle others. These are Not cute and Are offensive. Its your wedding day; not your get out of jail free day to treat others any way you wish. We don't want the NFL or other pro sports to ignore Domestic Violence, so lets not start your marriage with verbal abuse.

Color Requests -
Please be aware when order specific shades of colors - We will request from you a sample color to be emailed to us as a reference. Paint colors and fabric colors are not going to match perfectly. We will do our best to match paint colors as close as possible. However, we must tell you, upfront, that if you are not pleased with the shade of the finished product, then, there will be no recourse. No refund or exchange will be issued due to the costs that we have incurred producing the item.

Wood Used -

Canceling or Changing an order -
Because most of the items we create are either customized or personalized, rarely can we cancel or change an order. We begin production of orders, almost immediately, in all cases. Therefore, requests will be handled on an order by order basis. Please understand that we are small business, and if we have already began production on a customized or personalized item, we will be unable to cancel your order. We will not be able to resale an item with your name and wedding date on it. Furthermore, if you have requested a particular font for a sign, there is the possibility of reselling it, someday. However, we do not have the space to store signs that may or may not sale, eventually.

Production Times -
Please - Under the Shipping and Policies Sections of each Listing will be the current production times. If the production time will not allow for you to receive your item, at least a week prior to your wedding or event, please contact the seller before purchase. We Do Not guarantee exact delivery dates, except in the event customer pays for Express shipping..

Shipping to Third Parties; i.e. Venues, Freight Companies
All our packages are shipped from MJNM with Delivery Confirmation Tracking Numbers. Once an item has been marked as delivered, by our shipper, we assume that the item has made it to its intended destination. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, once marked as delivered by our carrier. Therefore, we would advise avoiding having your items shipped these individuals unless you are confident in their reliability.

I want a sign for my wedding, when should I order it?
6 weeks or More before the wedding date.

I want a Unity Set for my wedding and I don't want it setting around for several weeks; taking a chance of breaking it. When should I order the set?
4 weeks or More before the wedding date.

I ordered a unity set from you and a glass was broken, after the service. Can I order the one glass as a replacement?
Yes, we keep records of your unity set for several months after purchase. Just send us a message and we will create the replacement listing for you.

What is the difference between a Personalized item and a Customized item?
Personalized items have your names, wedding date, or font choice, etched or painted on them.
Customized items are special ordered items that you have commissioned us to create for you; i.e. Signs that we do Not offer, that we have made for you. Glasses we etch for you, with designs that we do not offer.

We will be posting Wedding photos to Social Media, is it okay to tag Mint Juleps 'n Muddin' in the photos of the items you made for us?
Yes, please! We love it when couples share with us photos of the items we made for them.

I want the ribbon on my sign to be the same color as the background. Is that possible?
Yes, just send that request as a message to the seller, upon purchase. Messages to the seller, upon purchase, stay with the order and are less likely to be overlooked. Also, please keep in mind that paint shades and ribbon shades will Not be the same, so you will notice a difference.

I want my sign hung by twine, not ribbon. Can you do that?

Do you offer Rush orders?
Sorry; no.
We have the shortest ship times available posted with each item.

Do you guarantee delivery dates?
Though the postal service is pretty reliable, we can Not guarantee delivery dates, due to us being at their mercy. If you need an item by a certain date, please contact seller for an estimated delivery date. The only Delivery Dates that we Guarantee are those who pay the additional costs for Express Shipping and those dates are guaranteed by the carrier.

I'm ordering a sign. Why are you asking for my wedding date?
