Welcome to MiraJeanDesigns! I design textiles, available by the yard ... and turn them into decorative pillows, luxuriously soft and 100% organic throw blankets, poufs and more -- an easy way to brighten up your home.
Every textile designs start with a painting. All products are made in the USA. Textile designs are printed on natural and GOTS-certified, 100% organic fabrics, using environmentally-friendly inks. All decorative pillows are backed with a luxuriously soft, natural Belgian linen. Custom orders, welcome.
Because we believe in doing our part to support sustainable planet, in addition to working with high quality natural and organic fabrics, all packaging and shipping supplies are made from recycled materials and our mailers are compostable.
We also *love* creating special custom textiles and home decor for kids: love your child's latest school art project, but don't have room for one more painting on the fridge? Let Mira Jean Designs turn it into something functional and beautiful to enjoy year-round. How our custom orders work:
1) take a photo of your child's artwork*
2) select which product you'd like, place your order and email me the photo
3) production begins!

5 out of 5 starsI got one of my daughter's drawings put on pillows for my mom and mother-in-law. They took 6 weeks or so to arrive, but was were worth the wait. The quality is really high, the colors of the art completely true to the original. I found working with the owner on the project easy & fun. A wonderful experience all around!

5 out of 5 starsI thought this fabric was really pretty online, but photos don't do it justice. The color is fabulous, the fabric is very high quality and best of all it has a timeless quality. Both extremely modern but not at all trendy. And while it is clearly hand-crafted, it's completely professional looking. I think that's a hard balance to strike on Etsy at times, and this fabric really pulls it off. It shipped on time in beautiful packaging. It's going to be a gift and it's already wrapped and ready. Very fair price for what you get too. Yeah!

Welcome! Mira Jean Designs is a New Year's resolution that insisted on being fulfilled.
I am a mother of two with a degree in Studio Arts and love of bright colors, patterns, nature and children's artwork. After fifteen years in the corporate and non-profit sectors, I decided to 'stop talking and start doing' and launched Mira Jean Designs, a textile design line and custom textile design services co.
Making people's homes brighter, creating something custom for interiors, and celebrating kids' art is at the heart of what I do. I am inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s quote, “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says, “I’m possible!”
How does it work? An artist by training, every textile design begins with original artwork -- typically a watercolor painting. Then, I create a textile design featuring a repeat pattern of the art ... and turn my textiles into functional products to enjoy year-round such as decorative pillows, ottomans, or luxuriously soft, 100% organic cotton knit throw blankets.
All MJD textiles are machine-washable (a must for this mother of two!). Art-inspired and sustainably designed, I only work with high quality, all natural and organic fabrics.

All other items will be shipped as noted in each listing. Textiles by the yard typically ship within 2 weeks. All items typically ship via USPS priority mail.
International shipping available at cost plus a $5 U.S. handling fee.

On Custom Kids' Art Orders: emailing the .jpg photographs of your child's artwork: the larger the file size and higher the resolution, the better. If you are using an i-phone, select size LARGE.
