Announcement   BEAUTY... PAIN...EROTIC

Where are you from?
I am Bulgarian. I was born in Sofia.

What kind of photographic equipment do you use?
I use Canon 6D

Birthday: 17 May

College: Art Academy of Sofia

Favorite Color: Green

Favorite Book: “Venise en hiver” by Emmanuel Roblès

Favorite Movie: “Damage”

Favorite Food: I love Italian food: pizza, pasta and the pastry

What do you do when you are not shooting?
When I am not shooting I edit my images, which really takes a lot more time than the shooting itself, and for me this is the best moment which gives me satisfaction. Also I do have a job, I go out with friends…I love traveling and be in the company of my boyfriend.

What was the first photograph you were proud of?
I am really glad with every one of my images. Especially with those who affected people the way they were intended. I create this photographs because this really gives me great pleasure. I am proud and happy that I found this way of expression for myself.

How much preparation is there behind your photographs?
You have noticed that huge part of my images are self portraits. This makes the process a little bit easier for me. In most cases I already have the image in my head first, then I pick the perfect spot and finally gather all the accessories I need. I use only natural light. Very often I use as a model my best friend, she is a great model and she manages to re-create the visages in my stories.

If you had to link your images with 3 tags. Which would they be?
BEAUTY, PAIN, EROTIC

How do you manage to harmonize a subtle erotism with the ethereal mood of your photos?
In my images I use pain as a beauty, erotic as a psychological way of life. I express myself and my intimate inner life. In my photographs you would find beauty and strong will for life, sorrow and pain, love and eroticism as constant part of our life… I would love to connect all that feelings. For me that is the only way to know the sweetness to be alive, to know the happiness and become part of the beauty of life.
