So this a a different color variant than the one I have. I knew I had to have another Poochie in my live. I adore the artwork. Keep it original, yet classy. Good job!! <3

Super super cute, I have it on my pencil bag and the students I work with always tell me how much they love it

The pins shipped quickly and are amazing!! They have such a nice attention to detail. On top of that, the seller is so kind! There was an issue with my order, and I messaged her letting her know and she very quickly responded and resolved the issue!!

Wonderful quality and supportive pin backing. The pink pixietail was a little less crisp than the teal but still so adorable!
Miseducated by Amber Renee
My name is Amber Renee Fawn and I am an artist and a designer. I design items that I want to wear -- clothing and accessories that are unique and eye-catching. I don't appreciate mass-produced products nearly as much as the ones that that feel as though they were made for me. That's why my products were made for you. You. You who wants to have treasures that speak to you and convey your unique aesthetic. You who has a free-spirit and an affinity for the cute and the kitsch.
I developed an appreciation for clothing and accessory design in my years studying art and visual communications in college and graduate school. I was lead to travel, so I did, and decided I would live in Japan to study Japanese culture and create. This lead my brain to be filled with so many ideas it was like a capsule machine filled to the brim with glittering ornaments just waiting for the dial to be turned.
As a designer, I designed pieces for Tokyolux, Hasbro, Stilla, and more. With those projects I was endlessly inspired to create for others while my personal work sat on a curio shelf. I utilized my appreciation for 1980s nostalgia and pop art to begin to imagine my own world of creations. I opened this shop in 2017 while on a sunny vacation in California touring Melrose with my best friend. There was something missing for me that I knew I had to create.
You are here to turn the capsule machine dial. Go ahead and find your next treasure and a new smile in your closet or jewelry box. Please visit often, new surprises await you!
Thrift Core and Reducing Waste
I am now happy to announce that my designs are not only nostalgic and limited, I also offer one-of-a-kind pieces that you will not see anyone else wearing or holding. I scour thrift stores to find objects that still have a beautiful soul but have been tossed to the wayside. In this era of constant consumption and production it is extremely beneficial to reuse, recreate, and utilize pieces that have so much life to give. In this way I feel I am also giving back.
We are at a place where the over-production of items begins to feel out of hand and the appreciation of once-loved pieces are more cherished than the brand new. It feels good to wear something that is one-of-a-kind and yet has not created more waste or loss of energy and resources. It feels good to know this is yours and yours alone.
In Japan we call this animism, which means all objects have a soul. I love the opportunity to search high and low for objects with a soul that speaks to me so that I can use them to create something new for you to appreciate and love once again. Thank you for the opportunity; I just know you'll find your next favorite piece in my shop.
My name is Amber Renee and I'm an artist. Every time I’m asked to explain my style I’m at a big loss. Nostalgic, kitsch, kawaii, whimsical, and psychedelic? What does that even mean? So I prefer to say my style is Miseducated, or unconventional.
