About

Where did you find all this stuff?

Where to begin....

Well, if you have a little time, this some of my story in a nutshell....

I was working in NYC in event production and got burned out as most people do . I channeled my inner gypsy spirit and left to travel abroad for 3 months. When I returned, I wanted a big change. So I sold everything and packed my bags to HAWAII and began "Living the DREAM" <3 I was introduced to online selling and began to hunt for more treasures. I flew to California , bought an RV and took a 7 month trip cross country for fun and found even more treasures... I couldn't resist! I returned to Hawaii I ended up opening a cool little shop in Honolulu's Art District and founded an event called Art & Flea where I also sold my goods .

Now here I am 6 years later, I ended up leaving the island bound for new adventures! I spent time in Santa Fe, NM enjoying all the southwest and Native American inspiration. My gypsy spirt called me again and brought me to Long Beach, CA where I currently reside.

You can find me selling at the Long Beach Vintage & Antique Flea as well as other pop-ups around town.

Who knows will the road will take me but the journey is best part! I can't wait to list all my wonderful finds !

Additional policies and FAQs
◀SIZING▶

Please be aware that sizing on vintage clothing & shoes, is usually dated and fits differently then modern clothing. If you are questioning the measurements of an item, please convo/email me so that I may give you more information.

◀MEASUREMENTS▶
All measurements are approximate and taken while the garment is lying flat, then doubled (with the exception of length, shoulders, rise, inseam).

▸ I will list all measurements as well as tag size when available however, please bear in mind vintage sizing is much smaller then sizing today.

▸MEASURING YOURSELF :Use a dressmaker’s tape measure, which you can get at your local fabric store. Measure yourself over the undergarments you plan to wear & not over your clothing.

▸I also recommend that you add an inch or two to your own measurement when comparing to the measurements we give, to allow for ease of movement.

▸Remember, too, that our shoulders are generally broader than most women's shoulders were in the past and armholes may feel much smaller than what you are used to wearing today.

▶▸▸ LENGTH: Taken in the back center of the garment, from the neck seam down to the hem. If there is no neck seam, I will approximate it and measure to the hem. (In regards to pants or shorts, the length is taken on the *side* from the top of the waistband, down to the bottom hem.)

▶▸▸ BUST/CHEST: measured across the chest with the garment lying flat. The measurement is taken from side seam to side seam directly under the armhole or sleeve then doubled and subtracted by 2 to give room to stretch.

▶▸▸ WAIST: measured at the natural waistline (usually the narrowest part of the garment), and doubled. (In regards to pants or shorts, the measurement is taken at the waistband directly.)

▶▸▸ HIPS: measured about 7 to 9 inches or so from natural waist, and doubled. (for women)

▶▸▸ SLEEVE LENGTH: from the shoulder seam top, down to bottom of cuff.

▶▸▸ SLEEVE WIDTH: measured from top of shoulder seam to bottom of shoulder seam (area connecting sleeve).

▶▸▸ SHOULDERS: measured in back, at approximate shoulder blades, from seam to seam, typically at the narrowest point.

▶▸▸ RISE: measured in front from the waist band down to the crotch seam.

▶▸▸ INSEAM: measured from the crotch seam down to bottom of cuff/hem.

**If you have any questions or need additional measurements, please let me know.**

◀ CONDITION ▶

All items listed are 20+ years in age, and therefore all have normal vintage wear. If there is anything noticeable on an item, I will have included in the description. All items are to be sold "as is". If you are questioning wear on any item, please convo/email me so that I can give you more information.

CONDITION DESCRIPTIONS:

▶▸▸EXCELLENT: Garments in near mint condition. There may be very small tears or loose seams that are either VERY INCONSPICUOUS or easily repairable. Tiny stains that MAY come out with laundering or dry cleaning and are VERY INCONSPICUOUS. There may be neatly done repairs.

▶▸▸GREAT: Garments that have small amounts of minor tears, minor stains, or minor deterioration/damage. In any case, they are not obvious and do not detract from the appearance and/or integrity of the item.

▶▸▸GOOD or FAIR: Garments that have several tears, stains, or other damage/deterioration. They are noticeable and may detract from the appearance of the item.

▶▸▸POOR: Garments having a large number of tears, stains, and/or damage/deterioration. This would include a garment that is in excellent condition other than a large and very noticeable flaw. An integral piece of the garment may be missing. Best used for study, or possibly display with creative arranging

◀COLOR▶

Please note, all computer monitors have different settings, so the color of an item may slightly vary from the image and the actual product.

◀CLOTHING CARE▶
We recommend doing some web research on properly cleaning and caring for your vintage clothing. Most items are laundered if they are washable (cotton/blends) , or steamed for heavy or dry cleanable pieces (rayon, silk, polyester & most dresses). We try to keep prices low for this reason on dry clean pieces. We recommend doing a quick web search on your new item on proper care. There is ample information available. If you are new to vintage clothing this website will give you a good start.

Remove your jewelry when:
-cleaning the house or using harsh chemicals.
-putting on lotion, perfume, hairspray, shaving cream and other beauty products.
