Husband and wife upcycle goods into art.
We met in Walla Walla, WA at a Macy's parade while in college. Two years later, we were married and back home in Portland, OR. Jennika has always been creative and artsy. Kevin has a strong woodworking skill set. After a few months of marriage, we realized bringing our talents together in art brought forth awesome results. We started working in reclaimed wood and acrylic paint to produce unique paintings and functional wall art. We visit craft stores, antique shops, and vintage retailers to find new inspiration. Our spoon rings were born from upcycling stainless steel spoons. Reclaimed wood has come together to form coat racks and wooden canvases. We are always looking for our next project, and love our art and each other. We recently purchased our first home, and live there with our cat (Miss Macie), dog (Samson), and 4 chickens (Ethel, Dottie, Hazel, and Beatrice).

Being born and raised on a farm near Portland, OR, learning to "waste not, want not" came pretty naturally. I've always loved painting and repurposing found items. Now, along with my husband, I use my passions to create reclaimed wood art.

Additional policies and FAQs
Q: Do you do custom engravings on spoon rings?
A: No. We offer a limited selection of monogrammed spoon rings. However, these rings are made from pre-engraved spoons.
Q: When will you get a certain style of spoon ring back in stock?
A: We find all of our spoons at flea markets, garage sales, and thrift stores, and give them a new life as spoon rings. This means that we never know what styles we will get in stock. But, if you are interested in a style that has sold out, just send me a message, and I will do my best to let you know if we get it back in stock!
Q: How do I know my ring size? And, do I really need to know it?
A: We make our spoon rings from stainless steel. This means they won't tarnish, but they are NOT adjustable. So, it is important to know your ring size before ordering. Spoon rings do tend to fit differently than a typical band, so if you order a ring, and it does not fit perfectly, we can resize it up to two times. When it comes to determining your size, there are several methods you can use. There are a variety of printable ring sizers online - message me, and I can offer suggestions. Another option would be to have a professional determine your ring size.
Q: Do you accept custom orders?
A: You can always ask! We love the challenge of creating a new piece, and personalizing it! However, we do reserve the right to say "No."
Q: Can I send you spoons to make rings out of?
A: No. Unfortunately. We used to do this, and think that it is a great idea! Unfortunately, we had a customer order custom rings in the wrong size, and when she sent them back to be resized, they were lost in the mail. Although we were not at fault, we felt terrible! Since then, we have decided it is too much of a liability for us - we would hate to feel responsible for the loss of such a sentimental item!
