About

MisterBibs Vintage for men

MisterBibs is vintage for men, with an edge. Work wear, street style, rugged garments, elegant accessories.

We have been selling also under the name Morning Glorious for over a decade. We have owned a retail store, and sold our wares at vintage shows and fairs. This is our ever-changing, online collection of men's shirts, suits, coats, ties, hats, shoes and cuff links.

We strive to offer you unique selections. We especially enjoy high quality menswear from past decades that is just a little bit gritty, edgy and quirky. So we hunt for tough coats and jackets that get you through the winter, fine brocades and sharkskin for your nights out... unusual prints, handsome tweeds, athletic t-shirts, rad shoes, famous-maker fedoras, and exquisite cufflinks and tie clips - all the best things for gents, not commonly found.

When you buy from us, you can expect to receive a well made item, carefully packaged, in good condition, and shipped promptly. Our 10+ years of experience means we are knowledgeable sellers who place high priority on good customer service. Follow us on Instagram - @misterbibsvintage

Thank you for shopping with MisterBibs Vintage. We offer fine menswear that is edgy and true vintage. Please also visit our other Etsy shop for the ladies: MorningGlorious.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Other Method
Payment
We accept Etsy Direct Checkout, Etsy gift cards, and PayPal through integrated check out. (Please note that the "Other" payment option is available only for our LAYAWAY customers, thank you.)

If you'd like us to reserve an item, we can do that for 48 hours without a down payment. Reserves of longer than 48 hours require a non-refundable deposit of 33% of the item price. We can offer layaway on items over $100 with a similar 33% deposit and a payment plan, so just ask us about setting up a convenient payment schedule!
Shipping
We ship orders within 1-2 business days of receiving payment, usually it's next day shipping, unless the order is received over the weekend or it is a postal holiday.

Items over $100 will be sent with insurance included. ALL orders are sent with Delivery Confirmation and Tracking.

We are happy to ship internationally. But we can not falsify a US Customs form, it is a Federal crime -- Please do not ask us to mark a phony price, or say the purchase is a gift!

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS -- Please be aware that you are responsible for paying customs fees or import tax in your country which may be associated with receiving your Etsy purchase. These fees are not within a seller's control. (The UK, in particular, will charge you VAT or "value added tax," to receive your item sent from the USA.)
Refunds and Exchanges
All items are unique vintage pieces, meaning they are at least 20 years old or older, and are sold "AS IS" on Etsy. We generally do not accept returns! However, if we have made an error or a serious oversight in the listing, and if you are not satisfied with your purchase, get in touch with us by Etsy convo or email and we'll do our best to rectify the situation. We are experienced dealers with excellent customer service - so if you're unhappy, we'll always do what we can to make it right for you.

We provide garment measurements in the listing according to standard tailor's measurement methods, so please know your measurements -- and remember, a garment needs to be bigger than you are, so you can move and breathe in it. For example, if your chest is 38 inches, your jacket should measure 42 inches so you are comfortable wearing it.

Colors may look different on different monitors and mobile devices. If you have questions, please ask us before purchasing.

In most cases where we do agree to process a return, we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee, which covers the costs to us of re-listing, cleaning when needed, and returning a sold item back to inventory. When we accept a return, the buyer always pays for shipping. On some items, we can not accept a return under any circumstances, and these include all forms of underwear, socks, boxer shorts, swim trunks, anything deadstock or sealed in a package, anything worn on the body in such a way that it is considered an "intimate" item. We do not take returns on consignment items or items purchased on layaway.

Some items may only be returned for STORE CREDIT, and each case is handled individually and always at our discretion.

We generally sell vintage items that are in GOOD, VERY GOOD, or EXCELLENT condition. We also occasionally sell DISTRESSED vintage items, which means the garment may look very worn, be ripped or beat up, but is still desirable as a fashion statement. When we sell DEADSTOCK items, they may be unworn but still have flaws from storage issues. Please ask any questions before purchasing.

Vintage clothing, by its nature, often has little imperfections or signs of previous wear which are not considered major flaws. Jewelry metal may have age patina. Shoes may have tiny scuffs or show wear on the soles. Our items have a rich history and may be 25, 50 or even 100+ years old. They are not "vintage style," they are REAL vintage, they are wearable and were chosen because they have character, but they are NOT NEW items.
