This pine tar soap is the best I've had, to date! It leaves my skin soft and smelling great! You can tell there's a good amount of actual pine tar in the bar, and it does wonders for the skin. You leave the shower feeling warmed, energized, and fresh! Thank you for this product!

About

It started on a dare...

Soapmaking is always something my family has been around. My grandmother, Mae Erma Jane was a professional soapmaker back in the 1940's and learned from her grandmother Matilda Jane - can you tell I love old fashioned names?

On a cold December day back in 2001, a man told me at a craft show I didn't make "real soap". In front of him were over 100 different types of handmade soap I had made using my own recipes and all made from scratch. He wanted old fashioned style lye soap, the skin drying laundry style soap his mother had made. With that thought in mind, I started MoSoap and have based this brand of soaps all on my grandmother's recipes. MoSoap is dedicated to Mae Erma Jane and all she taught me.

Since moving to SE Missouri, we have added the line of Arcadia Valley Soaps which are dedicated to the people, events and incredible beauty of the Arcadia Valley. I'm the same person working under several different brand names. I hope you enjoy MoSoap's simple, humble soaps from a time past - though now becoming popular again and find the Arcadia Valley collection filled with luxury ingredients a treat.

All the best,
Debra
