Thanks for visiting my Etsy store! Most of my quilts are ready to ship, but I love custom orders, too. If you'd like something in a different size or different fabrics, or are interested in one of my sold items, please convo me!

I use high quality cotton fabrics and batting, so you can be assured that you are purchasing an item that will be both beautiful and durable. I also ship quickly so that you may enjoy your item as soon as possible!

I am able to make twin quilts (approx 72 x 90 inches) out of many of the designs in my store . The price for this size generally ranges from $325 to $375 as these quilts are more than 2.5 times the square footage of my crib quilts.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
I ship all of my quilts in Priority Mail flat rate boxes through the United States Postal Service. If you require alternative shipping arrangements, please contact me BEFORE purchasing. Thank you!

Kerry, thank for the custom order of the Lucy's Crab Shack baby quilt! It is just as beautiful as the first one I ordered! The packaging is so adorable! The quilts were lovingly folded into fabric bags and tied with a fabric ribbon! So, sweet! Presentation is everything! I even found a small pouch that holds a small package of tissues made out of the Lucy's Crab Shack Blue Bicycle fabric. I didn't see it until I went to place the first box in the recycling. Thank you for the unexpected treat! I will return to your Etsy store for my future quilting needs. I have an idea that I will run by you in the near future. Thank you again for such quality workmanship and expert customer service. All my best, Bronte

About

ModernMaterialGirl Quilts

I started my shop in December 2009, with just a few quilts in stock. Since then, my shop has grown to over 100 items, including PDF patterns for some of my original designs.

I work full-time as a music teacher, so most of my sewing is done in the evenings and on weekends. I enjoy the entire process of making a quilt, from selecting and cutting the fabrics, to sewing the top together, and putting the final hand stitches in the binding. Quilting is truly a creative outlet for me. Since laundry and dishes seem to be constants on the to-do list, it is so gratifying and therapeutic to complete a quilt and have something beautiful to show for many hours of work!

I am truly grateful for all of my customers. It is so exciting to know that my creations are being used and loved all over the world!

Shipping
I use flat rate priority boxes and envelopes to ship within the United States, so you should receive your handmade item very quickly! Ready-to-ship items usually ship within 24 hours of purchase. If you require alternative shipping arrangements, please contact me BEFORE purchasing. Thank you!

International flat rate priority shipping rates have increased dramatically. Many of my quilts may be less expensive to ship by weight. Please contact me if you would like me to calculate the priority mail shipping by weight and I will adjust the shipping costs. I no longer ship quilts first class international due to lost packages
