In 2011, while pursuing her degree in accounting, Mary Wood started a jewelry business - both as a side-hustle and stress-relieving activity.
After years of hard work, including multiple craft fairs and diving into the world of e-commerce, Modern Merrigold has blossomed into a thriving business. We proudly employ local women, have shipped designs all across North America, and are able to give back to animal rescues and other non-profits.

Our team designs + creates all of our jewelry in our Longview, Texas studio. Nestled in the heart of the piney woods, we’re proud to bring our unique designs to life to tens of thousands of customers across the U.S. and Canada.
