Welcome to my universe, where craftsmanship, architecture, and contemporary design come together.
My name is Virgile, and I am a French architect, first trained in spatial design in Paris, then in architecture in Spain, where I currently live and work in my studio in Madrid.
My work was born from a simple yet essential desire: to merge my passion for volumes, materials, and the handmade gesture with the rigor, precision, and creative vision developed through architecture. Each piece is an exploration—a dialogue between the intuition of sketching, the accuracy of digital design, and the freedom of working with my hands.
An artistic and architectural approach
For my abstract architectural models, I follow a process that blends sketching, 3D modeling, and 3D printing. I print thin, delicate components that I then assemble by hand to build unique volumetric compositions. I love exploring the possibilities that 3D printing brings to architectural model-making: layering, assembling fragments, playing with scale, and creating forms inspired by architectural elements.
For my sculptures, bookends, candle holders, and decorative objects, I work with a mixture of high-strength plaster of Paris and ultra-fine cement, tinted directly in the material with pure natural powdered pigments. The final result is both raw and refined: a matte, smooth finish, close to ceramics, that highlights light, edges, and minimalist forms.
A love for materials and the handmade gesture
Whether I am working with concrete, wood, pigments, or more malleable materials, I am fascinated by understanding the material—its limits, its potential, its reactions. Handcrafting is at the heart of my practice; it allows me to stay connected to the object itself, to its scale and physical presence, echoing the tactile dimension of my architectural work.
A contemporary and personal aesthetic
My pieces combine modern minimalism, strong architectural references, clean geometries, and deep colors. Some are purely decorative, others functional, but each is designed to bring a unique presence to any interior—your home, office, or personal collection. They can be gifted, displayed, illuminated, or styled in many different ways.
Uniqueness and protection of the work
Every piece is handcrafted in my studio in Spain, produced in small series or as a unique original. These creations are not reproducible or copyable, as they are original artworks protected by copyright law. Any copying, imitation, or unauthorized resale is legally prohibited and subject to sanctions.

5 out of 5 starsThese bookends are a delight. They are a small, elegant weight on the shelf, heavy enough for small and medium books. They look unique, and feel extremely smooth with an even color. The seller packed them really carefully, and added a bonus item i was also happy to discover unexpectedly.
