Shipped the very same day, and arrived safe and sound - a fun little trinket for folks who are charmed by stamps!

What a fun thing to do with bits of pipe stem - it will remind me of mudlarking with my late husband many years ago.

These are gorgeous and they shipped incredibly quickly. They are pretty heavy though, enough that it's noticeable and slightly unpleasant, and I probably wouldn't wear them often or for very long. I don't think there's any way you could fix it except finding smaller vacuum tubes.

About

steampunk and found art. nuff said.

I started making steampunk creations in the summer of 2009, when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, freaked out about that (it's all good now!), and needed to get as far away from my history PhD as possible. Now I'm a history professor, and I still make jewelry and robots for the sense of instant gratification, the "I made this today!" feeling of success.

In my historical life, I'm fascinated with wunderkammern / cabinets of curiosity / the grotesque / bodies / unusual anatomies, and I'm working on turning my dissertation into a book on conjoined twins and other "monsters" in early modern England.

Cheers!

I'm a history professor who needed a creative outlet. My book-in-progress is on knowledge transfer about monsters (conjoined twins and the like) in early modern Britain.
