Our Story

Lorraine enjoys working with the joyful colors of polymer clay (also known as fimo) to create the canes with which she decorates functional objects such as salt & pepper shakes, ice cream scoops, spreaders, fairy bowls, or candles. These are lovely for personal use, as house warming gifts, or for an entire wedding party. She also decorates iphone/iPad stylus with beads, creates treasure necklaces with found charms, and "tells stories" inside crab shell ornaments. Lorraine hails from Canada and has lived in Baltimore for many years. eh?

I am self-taught in this medium, as are many, dabbling in this wonder polymer clay (also known as fimo or sculpy) to create delicious designs to apply to anything functional. I love to see the smile on someone's face when they look at all the colors.

Frequently asked questions
How do I clean the Polymer Clay items?

You can wash items covered in polymer clay with regular soap and water.

May I request items with custom designs?

I would be delighted to do custom projects based on a color scheme, but I do not do custom images in the canes.

Can the polymer items go in the microwave?

No. Since some of the items covered by the clay are metal, they should not go in a microwave oven.
