I am very impressed and pleased with the "big sis" necklace I ordered. Not only was this custom as it was originally a bracelet, but the owner was super quick to respond to my request, AND shipped it out within two days of my order. The quality of this necklace is beyond my expectations, and the packaging was such a nice surprise. I cannot wait to give this to my sweet girl when her baby brother arrives. Thank you for making this purchase so flawless, and everything I was looking for!

Brand new bracelet perfect for so many occasions. Starts at $32.00.

Losing my job was the best thing to happen to me.

During my childhood, my mom was always crafting and creating. My sister would often be right there next to her, painting this and sewing that. I'd be anywhere but near that ring of creative fire... I never found joy or contentment painting little wooden houses or crafting angel ornaments out of leftover fabric scraps. Instead, I'd be holed up in my room, pouring my angst into awkward poetry.

Fast forward to my early twenties, when my Big Ten college education didn't lead me to the promised job land and the dot com boom was going bust... and there I was, hunched over a wobbly card table in my Chicago bungalow basement, giddy over my newly purchased beginner's jewelry making kit. Turns out my creative fire was there all along--it just didn't find the necessary oxygen in my family's brand of creations.

Today, I can't believe that my first (very scary) creations have finally led to my Etsy life. It took a long time and a lot (a LOT) of bad jewelry, but I am now able to financially contribute to my family. Every moment I can, I sit in my studio (a shared home office with my husband) and create. Each of my pieces becomes a small part of someone's life, all over the world. Every day, I get to help others celebrate childhood and the great moments in life. I'm blessed.

Well, the feedback from my incredible customers pretty much says it all! But if you still need more convincing... ;)

I offer a great selection of products to appeal to all interests and tastes and fit into all budgets. I disclose exactly what type of materials I use in each item and never use incorrect terms that might mislead you (i.e., saying "crystal" when it is a glass bead that does not have the same sparkle as a true crystal). I've used each component for many years and am familiar with the quality of each item so you can be sure you're getting a great value for your money. I will NOT use inferior materials--just because some of my materials are inexpensive does not mean they are cheap.

I make each piece with the utmost care and attention to detail. If I'm not happy with a wrapped loop above a dangle, I start over with new materials. If I feel a very slightly rough edge on a finished part, I take the time to make sure it won't irritate or hurt the little one that will wear the jewelry! If there is a funky spot on a freshwater pearl (that goes above and beyond natural inclusions), I won't use it. Add to this the fact that I do my best to answer any and all messages within 48 hours, and you will definitely love your experience shopping here.

Each item (with the exception of some fan pulls) is packaged in a cotton-lined jewelry box that is tied with ribbon. I even have bridal and boy versions of my packaging... so you don't have to worry about your little man untying a hot pink ribbon from his box! Earrings and necklaces are presented on cute little cards. The boxes I use are made from a minimum of 80% post-consumer recycled material. The boxes (which are sturdy enough to survive most travels through the mail-- DON'T pay extra for unnecessary shipping boxes!) are then wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in a envelope that bears a PayPal/USPS generated shipping label so faulty handwriting won't hold up your delivery! I strive to send out all orders within 7 business days of your cleared PayPal payment, but of course if I can complete the order sooner I will (and I usually do!). Please let me know if there are any important events/dates for which you need your item.
