Sono cresciuto in una famiglia di produttori. Mio padre è un abile falegname, mia madre una gelatina e marmellata, e la mia famiglia allargata ha trascorso la vita a trapuntare, saldare, cuocere e ricamare. La mia giovinezza è stata spesa nel cucito e nel punto croce, e ho deciso di fare carriera dalle passioni nate da questi primi hobby.
Nei miei primi anni '20 ho lavorato in un negozio doganale, aiutando le piccole imprese ad espandere il loro marchio con articoli serigrafati e ricamati. Ho perseguito il mio amore per il costuming storico e il cucito personalizzato, e nel 2011 l'ho formalizzato in un Tailor of Two Cities. Nel 2015 ho aperto un negozio di ricamo a servizio completo e ho reso le mie passioni un lavoro a tempo pieno.
Abbellisco i miei outfit con ricami, ma lo uso anche per esprimere molti altri miei interessi. Sono un appassionato amante dei libri, giocatore e nerd a tutto tondo, gran parte del quale si vede nei miei disegni.
I grew up in a family of makers. My father is an accomplished carpenter, my mother a jelly and jam maker, and my extended family spent their lives quilting, welding, baking, and embroidering. My youth was spend sewing and cross stitching, and I decided to make a career from passions sprung of these early hobbies.
In my early 20's I worked in a customs shop, helping small businesses expand their brand with screen printed and embroidered items. I pursued my love of historical costuming and custom sewing as well, and in 2011 I formalized it into a Tailor of Two Cities. In 2015 I bough a full service embroidery shop, and made my passions a full time job.
I embellish my outfits with embroidery, but also use it to express a lot of my other interests. I am an avid book lover, gamer, and all around nerd, much of which shows in my designs.
