Mutant Pulp started in 2017 in a haze of frustration with my day job, a failed book deal and a need to make my own art again. This shop is very much a work in progress and I imagine the things I make will morph as time goes on.

A little back story:

I started making things out of paper in 2010. I wanted to make toys and found that paper was an inexpensive, eco-friendly material. I love the design challenges that paper engineering gives me. It's like a puzzle and I get to decide when it's solved.

I have started to branch into plush toys in order to bring my work to younger and less dexterous folks. I want my plush toys to maintain the same design function as my paper toys, which has been a fun new problem for me to solve.

My head is full of ideas for other toys and paper engineered projects and I can't wait to show you!
