MoonshineJug is the place for handmade Decorative, Ceramic Jugs and Flasks. All our items are durable porcelain and make a lasting and memorable gift. Materials are food safe and suitable for your favorite beverage.

Thanks you for choosing MoonshineJug Pottery. Rest assured that your satisfaction is our objective. If you have any questions concerning an item you wish to purchase, please do not hesitate to contact us. We consider special orders of 10 or more items. Please make yourself familiar with our moonshinejug aesthetic when considering us for a special order.


All payments are made through credit card or PayPal and include shipping, tax as well as the items cost. I ship within two business days after notification of payment clearance. Items cannot be cancelled after shipping.


Whenever possible I ship USPS Priority. This gives me the best balance between speed and cost and a tracking number. You will receive the tracking number when the item ships and most destinations in the Continental US are reached within three days. I no longer list shipping costs for destinations outside North America due to the frequency of change. Buyers outside North America should contact me for shipping cost to your destination.

Refunds and Exchanges

Please inspect your package soon upon arrival and contact us should you have an issue. Retain all packing materials while we work with you to resolve any issues. Items can be accepted for return up to 48 hours from delivery confirmation date. Cost of return shipping with tracking is the responsibility of the buyer.

I will issue a full refund of items damaged in shipping once the shipper has accepted liability. Damaged claims generally require a legible photo of the damaged item from the buyer. Custom orders cannot be refunded once payment has been made based on photos.

So you are requesting a Custom Item from MoonshineJug. I’ve put together this list of steps to help make the process as smooth and satisfying as possible. We’ve served dozens of satisfied customers over the years for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and volunteer appreciation. We would be glad to create just the right item for your event as well.

Have you familiarized yourself with items in our shop? What you see defines the range of size and color we can produce. Colors not found in the shop may require a delay as we find them from a commercial supplier. Our items are about 8 inches in height max.

Do you have a hard deadline? Remember it will take 3 days in transit within the continental USA, sometimes much longer to Canada.

Have you considered your budget for the item? A simple variation or personalization of an off-the-shelf jug will cost far less than a completely original design. You can generally purchase an entirely originally design for about twice the price of an off-the-shelf jug. Shipping is based on actual cost.

Once you have conveyed your idea to me I will make a mock-up and convo it to you. We may make a few adjustments at this point. Payment is expected at the point the mock-up is agreed upon. This is nonrefundable except in cases of breakage.

Please make all communications through the Etsy email process. It has an easy attachment for images and you can be assured that I will read your communique within 24-48 hours on weekdays.
