Hi I'm Heather and I am the mother of two students.
I like working with things that people would normally throw out and turning them into something good again. I started this when I was fundraising for my children to go to an international Scout camp, and I caught the bug!
I like to to upcycle game pieces into quirky eco-friendly gifts, so ideal for the time pressed parent looking for unusual presents!
I love to work with you to create a unique keepsake or fun gift

Thank you for looking at my shop. Most of my items are made from recycled/reused materials and I use eco-friendly tissue paper.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders

You have a right to cancel an order - this does not apply to custom-made items.

If you do wish to return other items (it hasn't happened yet!) I'm happy to refund the purchase price and postage cost, provided they are returned in perfect (resellable) condition. Unfortunately earrings cannot be refunded unless they are faulty, due to hygiene issues.

If you wish to return something, you must get in touch with me within 14 days of receiving it (this is your right of withdrawal from a distance selling contract under EU laws).

This right does not apply to personalised/customised items, but please contact me anyway if you have any issues at all, and we'll work it out together.

I will process your refund (of the purchase price plus original postage cost) within 14 days provided the goods are returned within that period.

In returning items, you will need to pay for the return postage yourself. I strongly advise that you obtain a certificate of posting (at a minimum) from your Post Office or courier, as if the item is lost in transit *you* will need to be able to claim for compensation.

If you are returning items to me from outside the United Kingdom, you must mark the package prominently as "Returned Goods". If you don't do this, I will unfortunately have to deduct any customs fees/tax/brokerage charges from the amount I can refund you.

All refunds will be returned in the same method as payment was given.

If an insured item is damaged in shipping, please contact me to make arrangements for refund or exchange.

***PLEASE NOTE: Non-UK buyers please note that all transactions made through this Etsy store including purchase of all listings and custom orders shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law. The courts of the UK will have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising under or in connection with any transactions***
Payment
I accept payment via Paypal, Direct Checkout and Etsy gift cards

You do not have to have a PayPal Account to pay by Paypal. When you checkout, choose Paypal, select the option "I do not have a PayPal account", then click "continue" and follow the instructions.
Shipping
I ship 1st class within the UK and my shipping price includes postage and packaging. Packages over £20 and all personalised items, are sent 1st class signed for, as this gives both of us protection, and helps prevent things going missing!

Gift Wrapping - only if particularly requested and there will be an associated cost. If you mark an item as a gift, it will be sent with no price inside the parcel, gift wrapping is extra.

With overseas orders, I will post using Royal Mail's International Tracked service for Christmas. If you prefer a tracked or signed for service, please let me know, and I will adjust the shipping fee.

I will send your items within 3 working days of payment (apart from custom-made items, when they will be sent as soon as possible, usually within 3-7 days) and I will inform you when it leaves, so you have a rough idea of when to expect it. I use clean recycled packaging where possible to reduce the impact on the environment.

Approximate delivery times from dispatch within the UK: 3-5 working days, Europe: 7-10 working days, Canada: can be up to 6 weeks, USA and the rest of the world: can be up to 4 weeks. At times parcels may take longer through circumstances outside of my control. Delays in the post are not grounds for breach of contract unless the 'need by' date is agreed by both parties

Customs: Items sent internationally may incur a customs fee. Any fees that are incurred are out of my control and the customer will be required to pay these fees.

Your packet will be shipped to the address shown on your Etsy order unless you tell me otherwise. Please check your Paypal and/or Etsy profile to ensure it is correct, as I cannot be held responsible for mail that is misdirected due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies- for example the Royal Mail or UPS. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Data Retention

However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period - 6 years as this is required of me by the UK’s Her Majesty’s Customs and Revenue Service (HMRC)
5. If transferring personal information outside of Europe, how the transfer will be handled
GDPR (2018) requires me to disclose if you transfer personal information outside of the EU and the legal bases you rely on to do so, such as consent and contractual necessity.
The only circumstance in which I would transfer personal information out of the European Union would be for delivery purposes through trustworthy services such as the Royal Mail or UPS or similar postal services.
Any other information will only be held by Etsy itself and for that purpose you should refer to their Privacy Policy
6. Buyers’ rights regarding my use of your personal information and my contact details

Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
