~*~Hello Morbid Cuties~*~
I'm a vulture culture artist, photographer, crystal worker and antique hunter. What others might find ugly, creepy or morbid I find beautiful. I describe my small business as "a strange gift shop" because well... it is and there's a little bit of everything for everyone.
I started making jewelry 3 years ago as Christmas gifts and soon I had family and friends encouraging me to bring my hobby into an actual business.
I have been collecting and working with crystals since I was 10. I carefully pick which stone goes with others to create the perfect healing piece of jewelry. All my crystals have been cleansed by various way either by water, sun/moon light, smudging or by sound and are ready for you to charge for your own personal intentions.
All my bones I use in my artwork and jewelry are either found from nature walks, road kill, local hunters/farmers (NOT trophy hunting), natural causes and from owl pellets (owl vomit). I am more fond of finding my bones from owl pellets and knowing my bones are coming from actual "nature being nature" in its pure form. Please check out my YouTube video below to see "what's inside an owl pellet".

I also have a great love for cemeteries and gravestone art ever since I was a little girl. I thank my grandfather for getting me into photography and my first grade teacher (she loved doing gravestone rubbings) for my love of gravestones and cemeteries. I travel all over New England with my spouse to photography graves. We find cemeteries to be an open art gallery and there is quite a bit of symbolism and storytelling behind gravestone art. All gravestone art is my own personal photography and I am a firm believer that photography does not always need to be enjoyed in your tradition "frame on the wall". I incorporate a lot of my photo work into jewelry and transparency artwork. My transparent work can be viewed in several ways to give the artwork a different type effects and appearance. Place it in the window to create a stained glass effect, hang on the wall to give the image more dimensions or put a candle behind to give an eerie glow.
Antiques and uniques are another big love of mine and I am always stumbling across little unique goodies. My finds are your treasures and believe me I truly love finding new treasures for people to enjoy.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you are looking for a more personal commissioned piece of artwork, jewelry or a certain treasure you need help looking for.
Have a wonderful day, take care and happy shopping.
