Announcement    Located on Galiano Island, BC, I create one of a kind handmade textile sculptures and art dolls. I use materials from my collection of fabrics and fabric scraps that I have been compiling for many years. All of my sculptural animals are entirely made by hand and I do not use any patterns, thereby making each piece unique.

I begin each animal with a wire armature and build the form up layer by layer until it takes on the desired shape and texture. I prefer to use recycled treasures both to adorn my creatures as well as to create them.

My art dolls are built around abandoned children's dolls and given new animal spirits as well as fancy ensembles.

One of a kind Animal themed Textile Sculptures

I've been sewing for as long as I can remember, and have been sculpting with cloth for the past several years. The animals that I create range from whimsical to lifelike as I oscillate between a passion for both types of sculpture. I love to give human traits and personalities to many of the creatures that I create, often giving them a whimsical or sarcastic twist.

The sculptures that I create are one of a kind, and made from repurposed fabrics.

Hello, and Welcome to Patti Moreland Textiles. I create one-of-a-kind whimsical "animalian" sculptures. All of my sculptures are handmade and no two creatures are ever exactly alike.

My sculptures are entirely hand sewn and lovingly hand sculpted.

Returns and exchange details
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in it's original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

For exchanges buyers are responsible for any return shipping costs as well as any other shipping charges.

Payments must be received before I will begin any custom orders.
Shipping
All items are shipped via Canada Post Regular Parcel or Surface Mail unless you request otherwise. With custom orders, processing time may vary for each order from the time of your purchase until shipping. In addition, with custom orders please send me your postal code when ordering so that I may include an accurate shipping quote in your final listing.
