I really love the bracelet! The pattern is lovely, and the jingle it makes when moved is nice and not too loud (tested during an exam at uni.) The quality is really good, too. Shipping took a while (about 8 days), but that was no surprise for an international delivery. I definitely recommend this shop and would buy here again!

From challenge to a craft

My chainmaille-ing started like a lot of things in my life do - someone said "Hey, you're crafty; I bet you can make [or do] that!"

This time it was my husband, in reference to a chainmaille bikini top we saw at the Texas Renaissance Festival.

So with a little research on the web I figured out that chainmaille-ing mostly takes time, patience, attention to detail, spatial awareness and hand strength. I soon figured out I have quite the knack for figuring out how to flip rings around to make neat patterns.

I will admit I'm still in the learning phase of the craft though, still more mimicry than I like. I want to slowly phase out the more generic patterns, though I will still offer some. I want to focus on designs and creations that I haven't seen anywhere else except in my bizarre mind.

My method is to take my supply of rings, a pattern I've found or dreamed up and sit on the couch watching netflix while trying to get as much done as I can before my cats try and crawl in my lap, or crawling in my ring box.

I request that all payment is made promptly (within 2 business days), and accept payment through Paypal. Please do not purchase if you have any doubts - and feel free to contact me for more information or pictures of a piece.

However, I know things happen, and if you need to cancel an order, please contact me immediately to do so. Once an item has been shipped, an order can not be canceled.

Returns must be made with prior approval, and shipping is to be paid by the customer (excluding items that arrived defective). Please be aware that E-checks through paypal may take 5-7 business days to clear and may delay shipping of your purchase. Purchases will not ship until payment has cleared.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not need a PayPal Account to pay for your items through PayPal. You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the "Pay Now" button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit Card without having to sign up for a PayPal account.

If you would like to purchase an item via another payment solution, convo me and I'll see if we can't work something out.
I know you have purchased an item because you love it, and can't wait to have it. With that in mind, I will attempt to ship your purchase as fast as possible to you. ready-made items will be shipped within 2 business days of payment received (excluding commissioned items, customer request alterations, and items purchased via e-check). All Items are sent USPS First Class, unless otherwise requested, and have delivery confirmation. USPS Priority, Express, UPS, and Fedex are available as well, and can be quoted upon request.

Please note that when paying via E-check, I can't ship your item until your e-check has cleared. This may take 5-7 business days for the banks to take care of this.

Local customers may request to pick up their purchase, and have shipping charges waived. If you would like to pick up your item, please convo me and I'll waive the shipping and provide you with a pick-up date and time that will work best for you.

I'm happy to ship to international customers. Please allow extra time for delivery, and note that I probably can't track an item once it has left US soil. All tariffs, customs fees, and import taxes are the customer responsibility. Please check with your customs department if you are unsure if they will charge you a fee. All items are marked as Merchandise with correct value declared, no exceptions.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want to make sure you're satisfied with your purchase. All products come with a minimum 30 day, normal wear and tear guarantee (unless otherwise specified). If you are unsatisfied with your item, do not hesitate to contact me. Refunds and exchanges will be made at my discretion, but I'll do my best to resolve the problem. I want happy customers as much as you want to be happy with your purchase.

Return requests must be made within 30 days of receipt to receive a refund, minus shipping. Returns are not accepted past 30 days. For defective item returns, customer shall pay shipping upfront, and be reimbursed for the shipping costs if the item is found to have been defective. A 15% restocking fee may be charged for items returned that are not defective.

Most of my products are repairable if damaged (outside of normal wear and tear guarantee), and we are happy to do this for a small fee. Customer is responsible for shipping of all damaged products sent for repair.

*NOTE* If you have a Latex or Metal allergy, PLEASE contact me prior to purchase to assure the piece you are interested in does not contain a potential allergen! I'm not responsible for any allergic reactions that occur due to the use of my products - which is why I want to work closely with a customer BEFORE puchase to make sure my products don't cause you any problems. I know how much allergies suck.

Don't see exactly what you want? Please contact me and I would be overjoyed to collaborate with you to create your dream piece. I will work with you though a basic concept, quote you a price, create a 'prototype' piece, get your approval, and finalize the item of your dreams! A 50% minimum deposit is required for all commissions to go into the creation phase and is non-refundable (for the potentially un-recoverable materials costs), although payment in full is preferred.

I'm happy to provide free cleaning and tune up for the lifetime of your jewelry if you are not comfortable doing so. Just pay the shipping and I'll get your purchase clean and shiny, and do my best to fix any minor repairs (partially opened rings, and missing rings if I have them in stock). I will quote an optional repair cost on items outside of the guarantee period if the repair is beyond the scope of my backstock or if it will take significant time to fix.

For customer reserved listings (Non-custom orders), any stock order placed on 'reserve' for a customer will be held on reserve for a week. If payment is not rendered within that time frame the item will be released back into general inventory. Please remit payment for any reserved items within this time frame to avoid your reserved item being released for purchase by someone else.

We are also now offering gift wrapping for no additional charge. If you would like your item gift wrapped please let us know!

Q. Can I wear your jewelry in the shower?
A. I generally don't make pieces that can't be washed - but I speak from experience when I say it's a beast to get all the soap off it in the shower. Both you and the jewelry will be cleaner if you wash seperately.

Q. Can I wear my jewelry 24/7?
A. Some designs I will warn you not to wear in situations around high voltages, or where it might get caught in machinery, or something else that won't give because of risk of harm to you. Aluminum based pieces probably won't last as long if worn 24/7 (although it will not harm you to do so). I recommend stronger metals for 24/7 wear, and are happy to quote you a price for a stronger metal on any design and length that you like! Many of our stronger metals come in a variety of colors & prices.

Q. What metals do you use in your jewelry?
A. We have a wide variety of metals that we work with. Currently, the bulk of our ready to ship inventory consists of aluminum and steel items. However, we are able to offer many other metals for commissioned pieces such as the aluminum (silver and colored) and steel (galvanized, stainless, and black), as well as Copper (regular and enameled), brass, bronze, inconel, German (nickel) silver, titanium (regular and colored), niobium (regular and colored), gold filled, and silver (Argentinian and sterling). If there is a metal you would like but don't see in this list, just convo us and we will see if we can make it available to you.

Q. Do you do Wholesale?
A. Yes, we are accepting wholesale accounts. We do have a minimum order threshold. Please Convo us about Wholesaling.

Q. Why don't you refund my shipping when I return an item?
A. Shipping is not a cost of producing your lovely item. It is a charge that is paid to USPS (or any other carrier used) to get your purchase from our shop to your hands. It is not a cost we can recoup to refund to you.
