To prolong the life of your naturally dyed color -
WASH COLD, hang dry - use a *pH neutral* eco friendly laundry soap (I recommend Ecos Free & Clear, 7th Generation, or Ecover)
*detailed care card instructions are included with every purchase*
ACIDS (citrus, vinegar, coffee, etc.) MAY STAIN YOUR NATURALLY DYED GARMENTS - but usually come out if you get to the stain with cold water right away :)
This includes direct AND indirect contact with acids (direct = citrus splash/spill, indirect = citrus laundry soap/deodorant).

If you are not satisfied with your garment or don't like the fit - the garment may be returned for a store credit or even exchange. All returned garments must be mailed back within ONE WEEK of the order being delivered, and returned in brand new condition - free of any odor (perfume, deodorant, smoke, incense, etc.) and free of any signs of wear (dirt, makeup, dog hair, etc.). Shipping costs for returns will be covered by the customer, and must include tracking/insurance. Returned garments must be delivered and inspected before store credit is issued or exchanged garment is sent out. If you need to return a garment, please e-mail seamoflife@gmail.com as soon as your order arrives for a return address.

My colors hold up very well over time - but like all dyes (even synthetic) - colors may fade slightly over time depending on wear and care. I use the highest grade quality of raw dye plants and extracts available that are the most colorfast/lightfast, to ensure long lasting, LIVING COLOR.

Natural plant dyes are pH sensitive!! Spills or splashes of acids (such as citrus, vinegar, coffee, etc.) will stain your garment. If your garment gets stained rinse with cold water immediately and refer to detailed washing instructions on your garment care card included with your order. Please contact me about my re-dye service to revive old/faded/stained garments.

All natural plant dyes are dyes derived from LIVING PLANTS. Natural plant dyes are far different from chemical based dyes, and much more sensitive to wear and care. Natural plant dyeing is a labor extensive process - I don't just buy a bottle of color and squeeze it onto the clothes. All of my colored natural dyes I offer, I create by extracting color from living plants. I actually cook down raw plants and extracts of the highest quality to create dyes for one of a kind living colors and garments. Colors take from days to weeks to achieve with all natural plant dyes.

Marbling is a characteristic of some natural plant dyes - meaning the dye is not always even throughout the entire garment - sometimes resulting in tie dye looking patterns. Every dye bath is truly one of a kind, turning out slightly different every time.
