Beautiful necklace and earrings! They are exquisite! They came well packaged with a handwritten note from Willie which gives it a personal touch. I love this shop!

The page on which I purchased this item said only one was available...is there any chance that I could order another one for a friend who's also an OUTLANDER nut? We have been looking for DRAGONFLIES IN AMBER earrings for a while and these are the BEST I have found...she's really jealous!

About

Vintage, Victorian Style Jewelry by Willie Zuniga

Welcome! Morning Glory Designs offers vintage style jewelry, including romantic Victorian, cameo treasures, Art Nouveau fantasy, and original "Layered Filigree" designs. I invest great care in each piece I make, with the intention that it will be cherished for generations. 35% of every sale is set aside to buy supplies for "Angels in the Parlour," jewelry-making classes I offer for cancer patients.

I first began making jewelry during a long illness, and the passion that followed was a God-send. I was devastated by the results of the surgeries and treatments my illness required, and my failing health had forced me to leave my full-time job permanently. I couldn't imagine how I could ever learn to live with any of it, let alone remain a productive or useful person.

But during this time, I came across a website featuring Victorian style jewelry components, VintageJewelrySupplies.com. (originally AccessoriesSusan.com) There, I found a whole new world of design ideas and lesson plans, all using the most beautiful components I'd ever seen. (Lesson plans and photos can now be found at Susan's new instructional site, FiligreeBeading.com.)

Soon, I was completely absorbed in learning to design with the wonderful products Susan offers. Although I was still very sick, my thoughts began to shift away from my seemingly hopeless health problems, and onto the timeless beauty found in this avenue of design. Each day, my outlook became a little brighter.

I often worked on jewelry during my day-long hospital treatments, and when other patients became interested in what I was doing, “Angels in the Parlour” was born. I started bringing extra tools and supplies along, and soon we had a small group of budding designers ... all very sick, but each surely changing what might have been a terribly dismal time.

"Angels in the Parlour" quickly took on a life of it's own, classes were formed, and we haven't stopped since. 35% of every Etsy sale is set aside to buy tools and supplies, and therefore no patient has ever been required to pay any dues or fees.

I am honored by the company of the courageous women I meet, and am continually blessed and inspired by their example. While fighting the greatest battles of their lives, they create and dream, laugh and cry, and share their strengths and sorrows. I will forever be grateful to these "angels," for through them I've made peace with my own situation, and what's more, am probably a more productive and useful person than I ever was before!

Thank you so much for your interest in Morning Glory Designs. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any reason, either through Etsy conversations or at MorningGloryGems [!at] aol.com.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
For domestic (USA) transactions, I accept payment by credit card, PayPal, check or money order. Unless other arrangements have been made, checks/money orders not received within seven days of purchase will result in a cancellation of the sale.

International purchases can be paid through PayPal or by credit card. I regret that I cannot accept foreign checks or money orders.
Shipping
All items are mailed first class through the U.S. Postal Service. If you require insurance or Priority shipping, please contact me before buying and I'll revise your selection to include those costs. If you've already made your purchase, contact me immediately and I'll send you an invoice for the difference.

All purchases are shipped within 48 hours of cleared payment. Custom orders will vary in shipping time, however you will be advised up front of the approximate timeframe involved.

All jewelry is shipped in a cotton-filled gift box and packed in a bubble-lined mailer. Gift wrapping, gift card and third-party shipping is available at no extra charge.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Unless you advise me differently, I will mail your package to the ADDRESS YOU'VE PROVIDED TO ETSY, not PayPal. Please notify me immediately if you want your package sent elsewhere.

I regret that I am not able to absorb costs for items lost or damaged in transit, as I have no control over the merchandise once it leaves my hands. For this reason, I urge you to purchase insurance for large orders.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Every country is different when it comes to taxes or customs fees. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, please check with your local postal service to determine if you might be required to pay additional charges on your package.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact me right away if for any reason you are disappointed with your purchase. I will work with you personally to resolve the problem to your satisfaction. If you prefer, a refund of the purchase price will be issued, provided the item is returned within 30 days and is in original condition. If the return is due to an error on my part, I will also refund your shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
WHOLESALE and CONSIGNMENT INQUIRIES - Because of health limitations, I regret that I am not able to keep up with the supply needed for wholesale or consignment sales. I do have many customers who purchase items from my shop to be resold in their boutiques, and although I'm not able to commit to a money discount, I do include extra jewelry pieces along with large orders whenever possible.

CUSTOM ORDERS AND CHANGES - There are never any charges for reasonable length adjustments, or to change earring wires or jewelry clasps to your preference.

I welcome custom orders based on my existing designs, found throughout my shop and SOLD gallery. Custom orders are made in the order received, with no exceptions. I am almost always working on a long list, so please contact me at least three months in advance if you need your jewelry by a specific date.

Unfortunately, I no longer accept orders involving original, commissioned designs. Attempting to create another persons vision over the internet proved to be so time-consuming that it resulted in prices I am not comfortable charging.

CUSTOM ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED, unless of course there is an error on my part.

Always feel free to contact me, either through Etsy conversations or at MorningGloryGems [!at] aol.com. And thank you for having the patience to read all the way through this!
