I opened up my Etsy shop last November, 2016, so I have been officially up and running for a year now. I have been making art all my life and began selling my work at Outdoor Art shows and various galleries beginning in 1989. In the years to follow I was accepted into and won various awards in National Juried exhibits across the United States. I was the first artist to have an opportunity to offer original artwork at the Master's Golf Tournament which was pretty neat and it was a huge encouragement to me. :)

I slowed down on my artwork production quite a bit during our "child rearing" years, and now that our children are grown, married and living on their own I once again have the time and energy to devote to my art. Over the years when friends would come to our home they would often marvel at my artwork hung throughout our house like a small art gallery and ask me did I have my work for sale anywhere. I always felt shy and embarrassed to tell anyone how much a piece would sell for so having an Etsy gallery has made this process a lot easier on me.
