Announcement    Welcome to Mosaic Gourmet. My name is Dee, and I run my Etsy business from my home near Morgantown, West Virginia. I offer the largest selection of grout by-the-pound in the US, featuring many colors I make myself, in sizes ranging from 2-ounce samples to 25-pound bags, along with various other goodies for mosaic artists, do-it-yourselfers, and construction pros.

**********SHIPPING POLICY**********

I WILL SHIP ONLY TO THE ADDRESS ON YOUR ETSY ORDER RECEIPT
-Please contact me immediately if it is not correct. Orders are frequently mailed within minutes of when they're placed.
-I cannot change the shipping address after you've placed your order. Instead, I'll cancel and refund the order with the incorrect address, and you'll need to re-order using the correct address.

I SHIP WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS
-Business days are Monday through Friday, and do not include Saturdays, Sundays or postal holidays.
-Custom orders and items made of wood may take longer. Please see specific item listing for details.

I DO NOT OFFER OVERNIGHT OR EXPEDITED SHIPPING
My outgoing packages are picked up at my mailbox Monday through Friday by my mail carrier. Offering expedited or overnight shipping would require me to bring the package to a customer service counter. Since I live in a rural area, 15 miles from the nearest Post Office, UPS Store and FedEx drop-off this is not feasible for me. Thanks for understanding.

I SHIP VIA US POSTAL SERVICE ONLY
-Orders ship First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the size.
-Tracking information will be sent to the email address you have registered with Etsy when I ship.
-Packages usually take 2 to 3 business days to reach you from the time they are mailed.

I CANNOT GUARANTEE A DELIVERY DATE
Although I guarantee I will ship your order within the promised time frame, delivery times vary due to circumstances beyond my control.

Life is too short for boring grout!

How did I wind up with all this grout?
I'm glad you asked!

I have a life-long interest in stained glass, and am lucky enough to live within 50 miles of two of the only remaining stained glass factories in the US. So when I left a 9-to-5 job in 2001, I began an online business to sell sheets of stained glass I bought directly from those factories. One of my customers suggested I cut some sheet glass into mosaic tiles, and that's when I got into mosaics, and discovered there weren't many grout colors available other than blacks, whites, grays and browns.

My passion for purple finally made me realize that I had to do something to fix that lack of options, so I started experimenting, and soon I was formulating and mixing my own custom grout colors. I now offer more grout colors than anyone else in the country, many of which you will not find anywhere else because I make them myself.

Thanks to you, I'm fortunate enough to be able to work from the home that my husband and I built on our 4 & 1/2 acres in rural north-central West Virginia. I enjoy regular visits from a wide variety of birds at my suet feeder as I pack orders in front of my window in the morning. Deer, rabbits, groundhog, and possum are also likely to wander by and right now, I'm being entertained by the antics of an entire family of squirrels, including four babies, nesting in a tree just outside my office window. (I have to admit, it's ever so much more pleasant here than it is down in my basement, which is filled with tons of grout!)

    I live in West Virginia, which has a rich glassmaking heritage. I began my business by selling mosaic tiles I hand-cut from locally produced stained glass. I added a line of grout, and now have the largest selection of grout by-the-pound in the US.
