Announcement   Busy working as a data scientist in Denver and while I'd like to post new items, I'm not sure when that will be. However, take a look at my past sales to see what I've done and if you'd like a custom order, I would love to do one! Also check out my blog: tinkerypeat.weebly.com to see what I'm up to lately. Alternatively, you can see my recent personal projects in my AirTable here: https://airtable.com/shr9YLmD5A3a7EvL3

Where did the name "Mossing Around" come from? One of my favorite textured stitches in knitting is called the "moss stitch." It adds a lot of character in a simple way and fun to pair with just about anything. My shop photo shows a beanie I did in moss stitch with a complimentary cable design.

Thank you so very much for sending this! Not only did I receive these adorable mp3/phone cases, but you added a lavender sachet and a notepad as an extra. It was a very warm touch. Positive review! Thank you again.

It's great! The scarf was made in under a week despite her finals. She offered a discount for a minor stitching problem (I think she ran out of the same colour of yarn and had to use a different colour) and made sure I was completely satisfied with the purchase even after I had it. The cowl got a little stretched after I soaked it, but it still has its shape. Thank you, Lauren!

wonderful seller! she made me a custom item in under a week. she kept me involved every step of the way showing pics of the yarn and her progress. though she made it clear that i was under no obligation to purchase the final item. as if i would not want the gorgeous scarf! all of this while she was under the weather. shipment was quick and the item was beautifully packaged. thanks so much! would absolutely recommend. i cannot say enough about her!

About

Knitter, traveler, astrophysics extraordinaire

I love being creative and having hobbies vastly different than what my degree is in. Finally picked up knitting, had a knack for it right away and listened to friends when they said I should start an Etsy.

I recently finished my physics degree and while I was in school picked up knitting to ease tension and be more creative (when school was full of hard math and textbooks).

I took a break on knitting for a while, spent some time travelling to interesting places in the world, and figure more of my life out. Now I'm living in cold, snowy Denver, and definitely inspired to pick up projects again!

I don't make much profit on my items, I just like making cost of the products I use, and being a people pleaser, try to help out my fellow art enthusiasts!

Returns and exchanges
If you are not happy with an item, just send me a message and we can work out the details of a refund. Refunds will be issued using PayPal. I can't pay for return shipping but you will receive free shipping on your next item. I appreciate any sort of feedback as well, so if my item doesn't fit the description or there is some other discrepancy, please let me know so I can improve!
Payment
I only accept PayPal since it is the easiest, fastest, and safest way to receive your items! I previously accepted all forms of payment, but never ran into anyone that needed it, so I abandoned them. However, if PayPal is problematic for you, just shoot me an email and I'm sure we can work it out.
Shipping
I ship USPS First Class or Priority mail (depending on weight) and will usually ship within 2 - 3 days after payment is cleared. depending on my schedule.

If expedited shipment is needed, simply email me as soon as possible after sale and I will reply with extra charges. Shipment will happen within a 24 hour period after payment is received.

USPS expedited shipping usually expects delivery within 2-3 days.
Priority claims 5-14 days, but in my experience they're usually quite quick.

My shipping prices include cost of postage as well as shipping supplies and delivery confirmation.
Additional policies and FAQs
--CUSTOM ORDERS--
I take custom orders at all times! Send me a request if you think I can handle a pattern or idea! I love working with people and it can be real fun to work with someone to get that perfect unique item you can't find anywhere else!

--ALLERGIES--
I live in a smoke free home but live with two outdoor dogs that sometimes don't give me my space, so if you have a problem with pet allergies, let me know if I can treat the item before shipping.
