I ordered this box last minute a little over a week before my wedding and received such great help making sure it got to me on time. And it arrived earlier than expected! It was exactly what I had been looking for and it looked even better than the pictures! I'm so happy with it and it is well worth every penny. I highly recommend this shop.

Our Etsy Adventure

A few years back, my husband and I were operating a marina on the Tennessee River.
He was also a general contactor building new homes in our area when things were booming with real estate.
One day I realized I wasn't happy doing what I was doing and began thinking of other things I could do. I have always been my own boss for a long time and I knew there was no way I could ever work for someone else.
I had a friend from Vermont that worked with me in the marina and one day we were talking about new ventures. She said to me (in that Vermont accent she had) "Have you ever heard of Etsy? It is site where you can make things, hand crafted things and sell them and "we" could make dog biscuits and sell them online."
I had no interest cooking for anything or anybody for we had been doing that for a long time at the marina. I did check etsy out but remained busy doing what I was doing at that time.
One evening I decided to check it out again and decided to open up a little shop called Tenahsee Treasures (that's Tennessee said with a southern accent). I was all gung ho with barn wood and old wood and hunting for it for that little shop which got old really fast.
One of the first things I wanted my husband to build was a wine box, for I had always loved the look and décor of anything wine. So he did, and I painted it black and with a "oh so funny" attempt at hand painting the word Wine on the front of it.
I did a search of wine boxes on Etsy and at that time, there was ONE wine box listed on all of Etsy.
So, one day I received a message from a customer and she said that she was interested in my wine box to use in her wedding. I had no idea why she would want a wine box to use in a wedding for at that time the love letter wine box ceremony was a very new idea...but I sold it to her and that is when our first wine box order was made.
I still have that shop, it is not active, but I cant bear to let it go. From that shop I opened up Willow Road Designs (for me) then talked Mr. Mossy into quitting the house building business so we could open up this shop(Mossy Holler) for him.
Now almost at the beginning of 2016, we have sold thousands of wine boxes and this is our full time venture that all started with a conversation about dog biscuits!

Hi and welcome to Mossy Holler!
We custom make and design wine boxes for weddings, anniversaries, retirements and for any occasion.
Most of our boxes are used in a wedding wine ceremony.
Every box that we have is made by my husband, finished by me, one at a time and custom designed and made just for you.
Because of this, please read below for answers to questions you will need to know.

~LEAD TIMES~
It is very important to leave us the date that you need your order by.
You will need to leave that date in the note to seller box when you checkout IF you don't have that option at checkout.
That is what we go by when we calculate our shipping time for each order.
Please give us a realistic time for us to build and complete the order.

Our lead time varies depending on the previous orders that we have when you place your order.
The "busy" season starts in March and continues up until November for wine boxes.
All other items are worked in with the wine box orders and shipped as soon as possible.
The best thing to do, if you are needing a box within two weeks, is to message us first to make sure we can do that.

Please allow us as much lead time as possible when you put a date down and if we get your order finished early, we will send it on out to you. But, we will go by your date that you check and that is when it will be delivered by.

~Rush Orders~
Rush Orders are considered by us to be an order that you need within 2 weeks or less.
If you are needing a rush order, you definitely will need to contact us by Etsy messaging only to see if a rush order is possible.
We don't charge an extra fee unless we see that the shipping time will not be possible and will let you know if an extra fee for expedited shipping is necessary. The fee is for shipping upgrades only and not for production time.

~PLACING AN ORDER~
When you place an order, you will need to make sure all the information to design your order is in the NOTE TO SELLER box at checkout.
You will need to leave the information needed for the order that you are purchasing such as names or initials, the date for the box and how you want them engraved on the box. How you type that information in the note to seller box is how it will be engraved.

You will also to check NEED BY date when purchasing.
This is most important for this is how we determine your shipping time. For instance, if you are getting married on the 30th
and you put that you need it by the 15th, your order (if possible) will arrive ON or before the 15th. If we can't get it to you by your requested need by date, we will let you know.

It is also important to know, that all the required information must be in the note to seller box and not what was said in messages that are between us and the customer.
If you place an order and then decide to change something on the box after the order is placed, we will notify you that we will cancel and refund that order and then you can place another order with the correct information.

We do this because of experience because sometimes there are multiple messages between us and customers and it is almost difficult to go back through the messages to make sure there hasn't been a change to the order.

EMAILS
We only answer messages that are Etsy Messages and not from emails.

Returns and exchanges
Please contact us if a mistake by us has been made with your order.
We will work to correct this.
Otherwise, we do not refund for custom orders.

Payments can be made with Direct Checkout and PayPal.

Remember you do not have to have a PayPal account to check out with PayPal.

Orders must be paid in full before any of our items are built and engraved.

Shipping
Shipping

Our orders are shipped with USPS and UPS only.
Once a package leaves here, it is out of our hands. Please use UPS. com or USPS.com for real time tracking.
If a package is lost or stolen, you will need to contact UPS or USPS to file a claim or contact me and we will work with you to see what happened.
If a box is damaged during shipping, then you will need to contact us for instructions for what to do.


For International packages:
We are not responsible for any customs or import fees charged by international post offices.
Once the package leaves the USA, it then becomes your responsibility to track it using the tracking numbers that we will provide.
We will no longer assume responsibility for that order.

Please realize that each item is built and designed one at a time.
The rare occasions that we have time to build boxes or cut boards ahead of time are very few.
We have two shops that keep us very busy and we do our best to get to your orders in a timely manner.

Frequently asked questions

What is the turnaround time on our boxes?

We make each of our boxes one a time and because of this, to give you a shipping time is one of the obstacles that we have had to overcome.
We ask you, as our customer, when you checkout to leave your requested delivery date.
We also ask that you consider a reasonable amount of time for your box to be put into production.
If the date you leave is unreasonable, we will contact you to try our best to work out an agreeable day of delivery.
If you don't hear from us about the delivery date you chose, then you will know it is acceptable for us.

Can I change the engraving on a box that I like from another box?

Yes, we can change up the boxes.
If you see something on another box that we have, please just send us a screen shot of the image you are wanting.
We can and will engrave most anything on a box.
If you have a custom logo, please send it in a pdf file.
If you want a different font, please supply us with the font that you want to use.
If you want another image that is something we don't have, please send it to us so that we can see if it is possible for it to be engraved.

Can I cancel my order?

We will accept a cancellation as long as your order has not been produced or engraved.

Custom and personalized orders

We will only send a proof if a change to the design has been made.
You must request a proof from us.
Your proof will be send through Etsy messaging.
Once you receive your proof, we will need your approval before production.
We will not continue until you approve.

Can I change my address?

Please make sure before you purchase your order that your mailing address is correct.
As a vendor, we cant change what you put on the invoice.
If there is a change, then we have to rely on a note that we make to change it for you.
To assure it goes to the correct address, again, make sure it is correct when you check out.

Custom and personalized orders

You will need to contact either USPS or UPS.
We only use these two and your tracking information will tell you which carrier it was shipped with.
You will need to have your tracking number when you contact the carrier.

How do I tell you what we want engraved or designed?

When you checkout, there will be a note to seller box.
There is where you will leave all information that we will need to design your box.
Please type the words exactly how you want them engraved.
